Biggest Concerns About Men In Girls Chat

What's with men on girls chat?

Girls chat falsely sells itself as a safe-haven for women and girl's. given how there's an informative blog-post explaining talking about whether or not it's safe for women to chat online linked and how stated in the rules and regulations "You agree this is for girls, "chicks", women and gals. This is not a community for boys to meet girls". Upon joining, women come to the sour realization that men are allowed to use the chat to make female friends and how the owner takes no issue with men in the girls chat. It's not far fetched to say men are allowed given when a chat appeals to everyone it gets more traffic. It's as though the safety is of less importance than web traffic.

A women's only area is a place where women can be themselves without the company of men. Men are welcome in girls' chat rooms, which misses the purpose of a girls room. Letting men into an area that is meant to be safe for women and girls puts them at risk. Women's only spaces can be a great way for women to bond with each other, build friendships, and gain useful life skills away from the male gaze. When they're a part of a group that honors and empowers women, some women feel more secure. When men are welcomed into women's spaces, the feeling of safety, confidence, and sense of community that women feel when joining in a women's group can be ripped away. Women are taught to be alert. Women are commonly educated how to keep safe online and in the real world. Some women feel safer communicating with people online, which can lead to them lowering their guard and not being on the watch for people with bad intent who are not who they appear to be. Reverse image searching user profile pictures is second nature to some women on girl's chat, and they have an eye for spotting who isn't a woman. A woman is more likely to be safe if she does not give her real name, show herself, or give out personal info such as her location to people on chat. Women and girls are especially vulnerable to violence and abuse, and allowing men free access to a chat room full of women women and girls might compromise the personal safety of women and girls who aren't aware of how to identify a man who isn't looking out for their welfare and how to spot red flags in order to avoid getting themselves into a scary situation. Sadly, some women who are uneasy interacting with men on a chat for women and girls have no choices except to look for small size servers for women or to block men so that men cannot contact them. Women who join in women's online spaces are aware with the hassles of having men troll, harass, and disrupt women-only forums, image boards, and chats. Weeding out who is and is not a women is not feasible. Some say that women-only spaces are problematic because they allow women who have been wounded by men to avoid facing their personal bias and tackling their unease. Some think that sex segregation is hazardous because it stops people from learning to deal with people of the opposite sex. Some believe that barring men from joining in girls' chat rooms is misandrist. We should respect everyone's feelings about men being allowed in girls' chat rooms. Even though some women are content with men on girls the general consensus among girls chat users is that men should not be allowed. In a brief, the male gaze refers to men's hypesexualisation of women through men's eyes. Women are being reduced to sexual objects, which is dehumanizing. Body image issues, low self-esteem, and self-objectification can all arise from anticipating the male gaze. Because they believe that is how men want them to look, women frequently conform to unreasonable and gradually evolving standards of beauty. The beauty industry, predictably, is booming and takes advantage of women's insecurities by providing them products that promise to make them pretty. On girl's chat, some women may feel as if they are being watched and scrutinized by men, so they put on an act to impress them. Some women are uneasy openly discussing issues that impact women in today's society, such as sex-based violence, period poverty, and so on. This may make it tough in female chat rooms to have open and honest conversations about these relevant topics. Women have issues that they are embarrassed of or scared to share in front of men. Female friendships can be highly important to women. Men and women interact in the western world everyday at work, school, and in public. Men are a valuable part of feminist movements and it's respectable for a man to want to learn how they can be supportive to their women counterparts but a women's haven is not the place for that, and it is suggested that men keep away from such places unless they've been invited for a specific occasion. A girl's chat must not allow men, and a boy's chat must not allow women, in order for it to be a boy's chat. Some places are meant to be open to everyone, whereas other, understandably, cater to people of a specific age range, sex, race, or common interest. When a themed chat room becomes a meeting place for everyone, it has strayed from its original goal. Perhaps a compromise can be made in which men have limited or no access to girls' chat. Sadly, the implication would be a burden. Below are some circumstances in which men are allowed to join in the chat in some form or are not allowed to participate in any way, as well as some of the drawbacks of each.
  1. Men are free to join as long as they are respectful of women in the chat room and follow the rules. This lets men who aren't in girl's chat for sex chat to interact with women, but it also has the consequence of letting some undesirable men on the chat to fly under the radar. What can be done to help lessen this is to create a rule that says something like "If men obey the rules and are respectful, they can use girls chat for friendly chat. Any man caught looking to date women will be removed immediately."
  2. Men forbidden to use the girl's chat, and any man found doing so will be kicked and alerted to the admin, who will then ban him. This would be an important step toward creating the safe haven that some women seek. It has the drawback of demanding a more heavily moderated chat since men will come out of hiding while mods are away, as well as the serious risk of some men finding clever ways to fit in with women, making it harder to catch men. An educational news wall post outlining some tips on how to spot a catfish can be used to help women in chat in this case.
  3. Men are welcome to join girls chat, but they must do so in a designated sub-room where everybody, regardless of sex, is allowed, and they will be banned from all other rooms on girls chat. Men can chat in a sub-room with women on girls chat who are open to men. Similarly, a women-only sub-room on girls chat may be made, with every man blocked from entering. This would be a happy medium between allowing men on girls chat and entirely banning them. Unfortunately, this would make moderating within the chat more challenging for mods, and to achieve this, every moderator would require room admin privileges to remove men from sub-rooms.

What changes would you like to see on girls chat? Do you think men should be allowed to use girls chat, why or why not?

Without reading all that simply put its the same males that are in there daily. Over and over they either in their begging all day or disrupting the chatroom because they have no life . Some of them should have been banned years ago , but here we are,

Don’t get me started on this. I 100% agree. It’s all fine and dandy until someone pulls the eQuAlITy card.
The thing is there is rooms for males just like there is rooms for females so the equality thing does not really work as the site offers rooms to both. The issue is just their obsesstion with trolling the female rooms and dsisrupting them because they have nothing else better to do . Thats all it really is .

Of course females don’t troll the boys chatroom, do they? 🧐 When I referred to the equality issue, I meant if it legally was girls only, your get all the people saying everyone is equal then you’ll also get the people who don’t think they’re male or female and start spouting off I aM a PeRSoN. That’s what it all comes down to sadly in this day and age. Weird

I and many others would like to see a room that girls can have all to ourselves without a male presence but it's not going to happen so I guess we're stuck with it. Such as girls 'finally' get a room all to ourselves in the Forum, and so of course, guys show up. So, I don't mind so much if "nice" guys show up for a nice chat as long as they don't get all weird and pervy like most of them do. The line goes, 'males are allowed as long as they are respectful.' It's just the vast majority isn't in the least respectful.

Guys do need to respect that it's Girls Chat and let us girls be girls and stop trying to tell us what we can and can't chat about and stop trying to change the rules to their way of thinking. Like when things get weird in the main, female VIP's will create side rooms for girls only so we can get away from the mayhem; only to have a male or two call our side rooms sexist because males can't have access to them; and then say that side rooms for girls only shouldn't be allowed - even though side rooms for guys only, males only and men only are created all the time and by the one that complains the most. You'll have to figure out the logic in that.

Everyone knows who the user is that you are talking about. Its upsets him because he can't go in the side rooms and troll like he does in girls chat and lesbians chat. All the complaints from that user have been unfounded in about 10 failed forum posts by them now.

On a side note, I find offensive that every I or some of the other girls post a comment, ! Burnt Pizza / Corey feels the need to post a HaHa emoji. Please see my post from Monday, at 6:29pm. Apparently he seems to think whatever girls have to say is funny or something and not to be taken seriously. If he doesn't have anything constructive to add to the conversation he should just mind his own business.
