In a divergence from US testing / swabbing on souls, we swab noses and throats here in England.

My facility never validated the throat ones. We just do nasal. I am glad they didn’t get the rectal ones. I read an article Asia was doing studies and trying to validate rectal swabs lol. That would of been a lot of brown eyes to see in life. I don’t think I could of handled it.

Ewww to rectal ones although they’re doing something with testing sewage here to estimate levels in the population so guess it has merit. I’m talking like I know what I’m taking about here - I don’t - this is probably old news

Could you imagine the drive up covid swab lines and tents with rectal. Instead of driving up sticking your head out to be swabbed you gotta pull up and stick you ass out the window lol.

Only at the very beginning did they do head out window for us. They just give us the kit,
