It’s a little different here. What you call college we call university
When I were a wee lad, school ended at 16 then you didn’t have to go to school. it was optional to go to college for 2 years until 18 then university (what you guys call college) until 21. I didn’t do uni though, I took a gap year that I’m still in 🤣
These days education is compulsory to 18. The final 2 years can be like the college I studied at or it can be an apprenticeship or some other training.
Dang that’s a better system than here. School until 18 and then 2-4+ years of college. And then you have dummy’s like me that waited and will be in school until I’m dead.
Oh our version of your college can be much longer than the 3 years, just depends what you study, how far you go with it and the profession you’re going into
You’re not a dummy - it’s brave going back in after a break. Not sure I could do it.

I did better with English than I did with Math. Ironically I didn't do good in science classes but that was because I was a bad student.
