Actually Religion is blamed often but its actually rare when you look at history.I was being facetious, all good.
Yeah Religion and Politics are two of the worst culprits for war. I can wholeheartedly agree on that.
Putin's time as President is going to get a lot rougher. Yes he may have the police. If he loses support from the army his presidential term (and potentially his life) will be greatly shortened. Question is, who will fill the vacuum left by Putin. Medvedev...? Oh good god no. Anyone but him.
To quote a previous post by me on this subject:The people who have propagated this information used here are the same people who:
Said there was weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Turned Libya into hell hole that now has open slave markets.
Created the disaster that was the pullout of Afghanistan, that benefits China.
Said Trump was a Russian spy.
Pushed Europe into a position to rely on Russian oil and gas. Thus funding this war.
Closed down a vast amount of oil and gas production in the west that could have supplied Europe with what it needs.
Who told you sanctions will stop him
Who passed on intelligence on Russia to China so they would help then China passing it onto the Russians (when it was out in the open they are allies).
I could go on.
Sanctions will only hurt the poor Russia is still making billion on oil especially now its at over $107 per barrel.
Where were you with the USA bombing the crap out of Somalia this past year?
Where were you for any number of Western sanctioned regime changes or backed wars?
This conflict isn't as simple as Putin wants to recreate the USSR. Many recent decisions by some leaders in the West have emboldened him and also created a situation that you could argue forced his hand. Such as not taking off the table Ukraine joining NATO. Remember JF Kennedy was willing to go to war over the Cuba crisis. No one wants someone they view as an aggressor having medium ranged balistic missiles 3 minutes from your capital.
Want to blame someone for this war? Yes Putin is bad and should not have taken this action. War is evil no matter who creates it. But the actions of the west and NATO has not helped in the least to stop this conflict. If anything many of the actions in the past year have helped to created this conflict.
Make your leaders accountable for their actions.
On a side note to all those on social media etc:
You want to support Ukrainians? Showing a flag on your social media or shouting down Russians does nothing for them. If you really want to help donate some money to help those who need food and medical aid. Stop doing things to make you feel good that has no benefit for them in the least. Also where were you for any number of the conflicts we currently have in the world?
Waits for the hate.
Long term Government officials politicians (from various countries) legacy media to name a fewTo quote a previous post by me on this subject:
“
“Sadly enough, the West has failed Ukraine. The EU has become dependent on Russian oil and gas. London has long been a playground of the Russian oligarchs. When Russia annexed Crimea, the West turned a blind eye and abandoned Ukraine. Truth be told, the West tried to impose their values on to Russia, as it tried to do in the Middle East, and everywhere else to be quite fair, and the eastward extension of the EU caused Putin to become paranoid, but this is no reason to invade a country. With a track record of invading countries and territories in the Caucasus and annexing the Crimea, sanctions should have been imposed a lot earlier without imposing moral and cultural superiority and pointing one’s finger at Russia. Economic isolation post-2008/2009 (Russo-Georgian war and Second Chechen war) would have financially crippled Russia and an invasion would have been far too costly. An economic crisis would likely also have lead to a regime change. In essence, failed policies and diplomacy, which lead Russia to become paranoid, along with financial greed/economic dependency, created this situation.”
Regarding your comment:
“The people who have propagated this information used here”
Who are you referring to? It seems to me that different views are being propagated on the matter, not just one view…..
Agreed. I thought you meant the opinions in this thread, since I agree with your post.Long term Government officials politicians (from various countries) legacy media to name a few
Oh but of course who own many of the media companies in Americano? By the way, bobka? You like bamboo sticks? 😂No one seems to care about the US and UK backed Saudis who are currently bombing innocent civilians in Yemen, in fact the media seems to have a black out on it.
LOL no.Oh but of course who own many of the media companies in Americano? By the way, bobka? You like bamboo sticks? 😂
Yeah but they didn’t have nukes, toosh!LOL no.
But hey, sanctions sure stopped ended the Nazis from advancing and not attacking the US.
i see religion in history quite often....Actually Religion is blamed often but its actually rare when you look at history.
no matter what his reasoning is, it doesnt rlly justify what hes trying to doHe doesn’t want to restore the Soviet Union, he wants to restore the imperial pre-Soviet Russian Empire, hence why he is backed by the patriarch of the Russian Orthodox church. Although he was part of the so called Soviet “apparatchik” he is far from a communist. He is a conservative Russian nationalist.
i hope so too, its a threat always looming over us, despite being highly unlikely. The disruption to millions of Ukrainians is absolutely devastating but he - Putin - has made up his mind and everybody throughout the entire world will see matters escalate.
What I hope DOES NOT become reality is nuclear. :/
All in all this is all madness.
My heart goes to the Ukrainian people. :/
reality is so deppressing, and dreamlike. we go from one piece of drama to the next, forgetting abt the previous drama like it was just a dream. No one seems to care about the US and UK backed Saudis who are currently bombing innocent civilians in Yemen, in fact the media seems to have a black out on it.
It sure is.reality is so deppressing, and dreamlike. we go from one piece of drama to the next, forgetting abt the previous drama like it was just a dream.
I’m not justifying it.no matter what his reasoning is, it doesnt rlly justify what hes trying to do
