We are currently accepting moderator applications from those who are available during overnight and/or daytime hours (EST).

If you're someone who’s active in the room, enjoys keeping things running smoothly, can handle the occasional chaos with a cool head, and knows how to be firm and friendly - you might be just who we’re looking for to join the General Chat Mod Team!🛡✨

Before You Apply, Please Ask Yourself:​

• Do I take direction well, even if it’s not what I want to hear?
• Is my record in General Chat squeaky clean (no infractions)?
• Am I available to moderate for at least 30 minutes at a time (ideally around 2 hours a day)?
• Can I stay calm and unbothered (having thick skin), even when someone’s clearly trying to “poke the bear”?
• Do I understand that being a mod means fairness and respect for everyone, even people I might not get along with?

If you answered YES to all of the above and you’ve thought about modding before (or even said it out loud 👀), now’s your chance to shoot your shot!

How to Apply:
Send me a DM on the forums by clicking here and choosing “Send direct message”.
Subject line: “GC Mod Application” (Don’t get creative here - help me stayed organized 😅).

Include the following in your message:

• Chat name:
• Age:
• Location:
• Time Zone:
• Your IP address (no VPN/proxy, please!):
• Other usernames you’ve used in General Chat:
• Roughly how many hours you spend in General Chat per day:
• Do you have any previous mod experience?
• Time frames and days of the week you’re available and committing to mod: (don’t over-achieve here - just looking for a realistic commitment). *Reminder: Minimum of 30 mins at a time; ideally 2 hours/day.
• List other rooms you frequent (and usernames, if different from General Chat) here:
• Are you a Moderator/Admin/Owner on another site?
• Have you been an active member in General Chat for at least 3 months?
• Who knows you in General Chat? (Name-drop your fans here.)
• Why do you want to be a mod? (Make it good. I read these. With snacks.)

⚠️ One Last Thing:​

Please only submit one application, and don’t apply for multiple rooms at once. It just makes the process smoother and more fair for everyone.

I will only be contacting those that are chosen via DM here on Forums. If you’re not chosen this time around, don’t sweat it! Your application may still be considered for future openings.
