In the new Adult Chat, artistic and non vulgar nudes should be allowed. However, erect cock and porn sex images should be banned, and any porn nudes should be kicked for 24 hours. This would give members an option to post more than General chat, and eliminate the perverts to Pervert chat.
#1 Chat Avenue should rename Adult Chat Pervert Chat, and create a new Adult Chat.

I have no problem with reasonable rules. However, adults are not allow in teen and kids chat that may allow reasonable discussions. Therefore, what room with more than single digit active people do you suggest, that allows discussions of reasonable topics suitable for both teens and adults, other than adult, gay, boy, or girl chat?

Sadly, you are mistaken. No topic above the kindergarten level is allowed in General Chat unless in a private message. Even the words Virgin Mary or a photo of Venus de Milo will result in you being kicked.
One person suggest "Bible Chat." If #1 Chat Avenue had a Bible Chat room, it would be less restrictive and might fulfill my suggestion.

The reality is that on ANY chat site you may be exposed to things you might not want to see.
You said General Chat is your favorite room here. That’s great. So limit yourself to that room and if you see a violation of the rules you can report it to the room staff and they will deal with it. If no staff are present, you can use the ignore feature so that you don’t have to see it any longer and you can continue chatting.

If you really wanted to, you could go on discord and create and moderate the kind of adult chat room you would rather have.

@TheDifference General chat is good because you can message and chat with people of all ages and all types, and discuss all subjects within the messages. However, it is also the most restrictive room on #1 Chat Avenue. You are very limited on what you can say in the main room or in your "About me" because their interpretation of sexual or adult content, or acceptable images are extreme; far beyond what any normal person or even school children would find offensive. Therefore, in the main room there is very little you can discuss other than school supplies, sewing, cooking, maybe politics. Also, fashion and sports provide you don't show any images.
I know there are rooms, such as Gay, Dating, Single, and Sports, that are not so ridiculously restrictive, but because they are speciality rooms, they have single digit or zero active members. Renaming Dating or Single to Other Adult would be a good option.

The children in general chat are not your children. You do not get to decide for them what they should be allowed to see. It is their parents' responsibility to make sure they know what they're being exposed to. But they still find their way into chat, so we as staff have the responsibility to shield them from things they might not otherwise see. Predators could also use this as an opportunity to engage in conversation surrounding nudity with minors under the guise of "culture".
I agree with you, that's why there's adult chat, so children don't have to see adult nude/porn I'm a 13+ that's why I go to general so I don't have to see the filth.
So @KelleyN no general chat is 13+ with children in there. And I don't want to see sexualize people (nude people or half clothes, etc.) Or porn or henti (whatever that creep shìt is) in the general chat. That's not what the general chat was designed for.
@H.R. PufnStuf your rules are good and strict. But it's to protect the minors in your room.
