Kicks off tonight with hosts England taking on South Africa. Saturday night will see the biggest upset in World Cup history when Afghanistan beat Australia!

Afghanistan take on Australia tonight at 10:30pm (Aussie eastern - 1:30pm local time). Would love for a. Afghanistan to beat Australia and b. for them to win a few games during this World Cup. For all the atrocities that this country has and continues to go through, some joy for the locals would simply be awesome! Want to see at least the 1st innings of this game, so will be a fairly late night and caffeine +++
 
The Afghans are all out for 207 in the 39th over. Kept attacking the bowlers despite losing wickets at regular intervals. Aussies won't have much trouble chasing this down, so my night won't be as late as I was initially expecting. Having said that, Afghanistan have two talented spinners including the world class Rashid Khan!
 
Afghanistan just went down to Sri Lanka. In a rain affected game, the Afghans had a modest total to chase, but kept losing wickets and were eventually bowled out.
 
Australia v West Windies from Trent Bridge starts in about 5 mins. Expecting high scoring and lots of short pitched bowling. Will watch the 1st innings as the Aussies are batting first, but not going any later than that!
 
After a more than shake start, the Aussies settled to make competitive total of 288. Our bowling was superb bowling the Windies out for 273
 
In one of the biggest games of the tournament so far, Australia take on India tonight at 7:30pm Aussie Eastern (10:30am local time) at The Oval in London. One of my favourite cricket grounds around the world!

You bet I am!! I absolutely adore the English cricket grounds. Such tradition. Would love to do an England Ashes tour. I have another 4 years until the next one!

Play starts around 7:30pm here, so I'll at least watch a session and a half then retire to bed and listen on the radio. Jonathan Agnew and Allison Mitchell have the most amazing voices!!
 
England easily accounted for the West Indies overnight! Tonight Australia take on Sri Lanka and on Sunday, it's the big one between India & Pakistan. Really hoping the rain stays away. 3 washed out games already!

1 billion people around the world tuned in to the India-Pakistan game overnight. Beats the moon landing which had approx. 550 million. India won comfortably!!
 
Pakistan just upset New Zealand by 6 wickets. Opens up the field for the semi-finals with 7 teams in contention for a spot. This is how it stands with most teams having completed 7 matches:
