I still dont know how that happened... Its likely they take the Dman, Schaefer.
 
If I was the Islanders i would package ppl to get into the top 8 and try and steal Haggins as well as keep pick 1.

HEs ranked 2, that wont happen. Isles would have to choose him over the D, depends what they need and who they feel the best player is. Years ago Colorado were said to pick Seth Jones as he was the best D there, because they already had Duchene, ORielly and someone else at centre, but they still took MacKinnon... Smart move. If Haggens is the best player, hed go first, if not, gotta take the best no matter what.

I’m saying they should try and get both. But you’re correct.

I wonder what the years are. I’m hoping it’s no more than two.

I’m also here numerous at the Islanders are potentially thinking about trading the pick. The draft class this year is good, but there’s no franchise like Connor for example.
 
So @Drock I’m not proud to say this, but me and my girlfriend got in an argument. I screwed up. So we haven’t seen each other for two months. We’re still dating we’re communicating it through, but of course she has an idea of meeting tomorrow at the Islanders draft watch party at UBS lol. (20mins from me.) I get to see my girlfriend. I can’t complain.

You may get your wish, Isles seem to be wheeling and dealing grabbing 2 more firsts for Dobson, word is they would like to move up and take Haggens as well as Schaefer. That would be quite the splash.
 
Well scratch that hope... Boston takes the Boston College player, Haggens. That kid wanted to be a Bruin too.

The Islanders had an opportunity to get both, but they were stupid. It was a very enjoyable night very kid friendly as well. We both loved it.

I hear they tried. Couldnt get the deal done and once it got to Boston, thats the kid they wanted.

Yes, I actually like a couple of the players we got, I think Joshua could be a steal for the 4th round pick.
I would have liked getting a top 6 to replace some of Marners production, but if the depth we added works, it could replace it by committee through the line up like Florida and other teams do.

Nah, hes dead to us, not welcome back! We will miss some of his skills, but overall production was only 100 points and limited come playoffs. Ill take 2-4 good players who can bring something "different" when the chips are down vs one selfish, soft, overpaid player.

Hockey hmmm? 😆 . I've never been a huge fan of watching it on tv but enjoy it in person so does that count? If it's not too much to ask can you guys educate me a little bit so i can impress my brother? We don't have a lot in common and want to build a better relationship with him. Thank you so very much for your time

Sure, the Toronto Maple Leafs are the hockey mecca and post polorizing team in the league. The New York Rangers have a rich history but are grossly overrated.

@Drock This is also why I don’t think Matthews should be captain of your team. He’s a great goal score I don’t get me wrong can’t stress that enough BUT he’s not really well-rounded. He’s average at best defensively and not very physical.
