This is a fantastic game in all honesty... I dunno if this Garrand can sustain, but he is doing really well with Igor gone. That glove save on Matthews was fantastic!

I don’t think he’s gonna win it! This is what people get angry for the leafs honestly he was the number one pick respectfully, but I would’ve taken the best defenseman in the draft.
I am happy by the way that we took Albert but he’s been solid throwing big hits and he started to get some penalty kill minutes. (I know you didn’t mention this, but I just wanted to throw this out there. Because we were speaking, I would mention the draft.)
Because this is what in my opinion is gonna happen now if I was a team, that’s looking to give the Leafs defense. The only thing I would want is a First and Cowan. If you’re not including Easton in a trade package to me that’s a non-starter if I was another team. This is my honest take. And people think it’s like I’m just like being annoying.
On a different note. It’s looking like New Jersey is trying to get Connor from Winnipeg. If they pull this off, they’re gonna be terrifying.
Funny... you say that yet, your team didnt draft the best dman available at the time! You got a good player, but you went totally against your s tatement there.
Leafs had no choice, they took the best player available and thats McKenna... doesnt mean the ones that came after him arent good players and wouldnt have been really good assets for us, it just means we cant say no to a home run instead of a triple.
Oh its Legit, hes our best trade piece now that we traded Knies. To me, Easton is untouchable, hes finally taking that next big step, at the nhl level and is legit. If that means missing out right now on a Dman, so be it... Id accept that. We cannot keep trading these young players for stop gaps unless it includes like a Werenski with a 8 year deal on it. Which we wouldnt get even for Cowan and a First.
Ill wait for a year or 2 and sign him as a FA vs blowing everything right now.

Actually... its a volume EA NHL trade lol, throw as much as you can until the computer says yes. Not even a first rounder is a fail. Command looks like a good prospect.
I think Mercer is the only one that’s currently playing. I know Nick is injured, but you think this was a fair trade. I honestly think it was pretty decent not gonna lie.
He’s got about another five years left on his contract too.
Its an alright trade.. Mercer is good, Command is a good maybe, Daws is ok but not a number 1 unless he takes a big next step, Nick is a bottom 6...
No first is a fail for me. Ill bet the 2029 second is conditional and could be a first if Helly plays a certain way or something..

Command looks to be a decent C. But they got bit pieces around, good nhl players but nothing of major substance. I think they are more glad the Hellyissue is done now.
