lots of illegal activity go on on your website, you are more than aware of this. but, instead of doing anything about it, you attempt to kick and intimidate me for criticizing the shortcomings, indifference, and overall complicity and allowance in this matter. if you REALLY want to improve your chat rooms (which i doubt you do based on the behavior of ALL the chatrooms' moderation teams) hire mods who'll actually do their jobs, and create rules on uses of ai and the sharing of nonconsensual sexual content, instead of intimidating your users for speaking up against it.
Hello again, you and I are currently discussing this issue in pm in the room. But since you decided to make this thread I felt I should respond to it. I’ll try to address each of your concerns.
Yes, content that violates the room rules gets posted in the room daily. The moderator team works very hard day and night to remove that content. So to say that we don’t address it is incorrect. We do. Every day.
We have a great team of moderators who devote their free time to this work and I’m very grateful for them and support them fully.
One of your complaints is around users posting content “without consent”. It is virtually impossible to determine if someone consented to having their picture posted without asking every single person who posts a picture if they received consent. Even if we did that, the person could say yes, I got consent, and we would have no way of confirming that.
However, there are times when users approach staff with complaints of their picture being used without their consent. We take those complaints very seriously. In every single one of those cases, we address the persons issue and solve the problem. I personally handle those cases so I am speaking from first hand experience.
As for you specifically, I actually discussed your situation with the moderator team this morning. I explained that you (and any other user) can voice your opinion about the room staff. If you think we suck, you can say that. However, if it is repetitive, abusive, false, or disturbs the room, then you will be asked to stop. If you refuse to stop, you’ll be assisted in stopping. Hopefully after this discussion we can resolve this and you can get back to chatting and we can get back to modding.
Finally, if you are seriously concerned about us enforcing the rules, you should also apply that to yourself and follow the room rules. You have quite a hx of violating those rules yourself.
