A warning system

Hello @Chatmaster. Hope everything on your end is just fabulous!!

I have a recommendation for rules here on forums. I believe the UMs should have to warn users before implementing bans.


I was banned twice, both of which to me personally did not make sense. 1 being for a blanked out nude someone posted in a minor chat. 2, for spamming. When I asked the UMs for clarification, HR seem to be a bit confused, but no other response.

How are we supposed to know what exactly is against the rules? The rules only seem to apply to some, but not others.

Anyway, a system that warns people leaves a verified reason for their bans.


Please try to stay on topic. This is not an EE forum. This is an actual suggestion, that can help avoid biased moderation of the forums.

As far as I know, all users are supposed to be warned, I barely remember your ban, but it only lasted a 2-3 hours ( someones butt was posted, then it was blurred shortly after?) but I agree for any ban of any real length warnings are proper (and fair)

Can we address how it’s blanked out? I wanted clarification, was it not blanked out enough? All nudity was covered.

No, that's not what I said. I replied to your comment in support of warnings, if you want to rehash or complain about a time out you got months ago DM Chatmaster or whomever issued it.

I want there to be a warning system for the UMs. There should be.

there is a warning system. it looks like this

there are limited choices in one that a um can pick and they are set up by the software, auto filled, auto sent. a warning also appears on the post it was for. the mod sending does not personally send it. the software does. some warnings do not "fit the crime" but usually i tried to get the one closest to the "crime". there is no way to edit the list of offenses to choose from.

Yeah, I deleted my response. I just find it odd you were banned and a racist was allowed to post multiple hardcore porn photos and not even get a ban.

Alright, I guess I can’t push on this topic, but I will say I received absolutely no warning to my currently standing bogus bans that no one will comment on.

I guess that’s it. I have to pipe down or get banned.

@Chopper you can close it, or leave it open to be **** on. It’s up to you, but I’d prefer it was closed.

Yeah that's what I thought. What I will say is I can't comment on either of the bans you received because I didn't issue either of them.

No one said you were going to be banned if you didn't pipe down where did you get that? Anyway...
