Adult Mods Please

Can we please get moderators in adult chat who log in for more than 5 minutes at a time, if we're lucky? Some seem to be present for less than 5 minutes a week. That's not a mod, and it needs to be looked into. There's so much illegal stuff getting posting without mods, it's disturbing. Please do something.

PS, this isn't directed at the two mods who actually do come to chat and make a difference. But that's pretty much what we have: 2 mods for a room of 1000 people, and they obviously can't always be online.

Might work a bit more effectively if you didn't have a typo. But, yes, make fun of the girl who just wants the pedophiles off the chat. I'm getting a very clear message. 👍🏻

Just for clarity though, my post was not an attempt at mocking you, I did say 'Seriously?'. You said we, as mods and admins, don't care about the site, well let me put this to you sweetheart, why would any of us continue to do it? So we can do nothing? I genuinely want to know.

You seem like a nice enough person with valid points. Why not try your hand at modding and apply?

I'm not gay, and I'm never in your room, so I can only hope you do a good job with it. However, as for adult chat, which I'm guessing you don't chat in and know nothing about, it's becoming increasingly clear no one cares. If anyone cared, the room wouldn't be modless for 20 hours a day with the same peedos posting actual images of child porn and underage kids over and over again. It's disgusting. I just want it taken care of. But all I get is talking points, excuses, and ridicule.
 
To the OP, I know your post wasn’t directed at me but I feel the need to respond, as I am a mod in AC. I try and log on everyday and try and stay as long as I can. I usually am there off and on during the day and for several hours at night.

I am constantly kicking underage, creeps, and pedos. As well as dealing with all the other users who violate the rules. Since I cannot ban users I have to report those who I believe should be banned (like pedos) to the admin. If moderators (or even just one or two) were given the ability to ban I think it would make a big difference in the user experience in the room. But that is not how the site is currently set up.

I agree with you that lately it does seem like it’s really only myself and one or two other moderators who are active in the room, and I am going to discuss it with Kim when she returns from holiday. But as has been pointed out we all do this voluntarily and have other responsibilities so i try and give the other mods the benefit of the doubt.

I just wanted you to know your concerns have been heard, I am going to discuss it with the admin, and hopefully things will improve in the near future. Thank you.
 
I understand people have lives, which I clearly acknowledged in the original post, so hearing that excuse over and over again is getting a little old. Obviously I know you're one of the good ones, and I'm not frustrated at all by the efforts you make to keep the room clean. But the fact is, as has been said about million times, you CAN'T be there all the time, and most of the "mods" we have are barely ever there. All the more reason to have more mods or mods who actually care to log in more than once a week. So the whole "we have lives" retort is actually the opposite of an excuse. It's a reason to have more mods, or at the very least mods who actually care more than 5 minutes at a time.

Again, I have no issues with the two mods who actually do show up. I just wish we had more than two.

You've probably fucked any chance at modding AC with this BS. You're clearly out for an argument and accepting zero truths regarding this entire site when told the inner workings.

Well, I'm not a mindless sycophant who is going to suck up to the admins when there's clearly an issue going on, so obviously I'm not cut out to be a moderator on this platform.

I don't know how complaining about a legitimate problem makes me delusional or misguided, or how raising the issue is bullshit in the first place. But I've gotten a clear enough picture from everyone running this site that they either don't see it as a problem or don't care. So I'm out. You can keep your pedophile haven to yourselves.
 
Somehow I imagine they'll find a way to ban me over all of this while nothing happens to the people who post child pornography over and over again. And if you don't think that's fucked up, you're the one who is delusional and misguided.
 
We could continue finger pointing or we would find a way around this.
Kim is currently away, but she would be the best to contact, and I have seen Kim on forums, she doesn’t tolerate this. However, it’s not the mods fault either, as they cannot be on here all the time.
Now I’m gonna agree with the op - there is a problem with pedôs on this site and they need to be dealt with.

I think CM should cooperate with law enforcement or employ some on site, that way we can have them reported straight away to agency’s that deal with people like this on the internet.

also, why not have more admins? More power to ban, just in case one admin is busy - cause let’s face it, we all have real lives away from this site. More admins, means more banning power as mods are restricted.
 
Btw, I’m not talking about Adult Chat - as a chat site over all. I don’t want to be misunderstood that I’m speaking on behalf of other rooms.
 
ElSerto, thank you for refocusing the conversation. I apologize for my rudeness to the gay admin. I was taken aback that anything about my post could be remotely funny, and my temper got the best of me. As I said, I'm sure you do a good job with your respective rooms, but there's an issue in adult chat that needs to be addressed. I hope it will be, but I'm not sticking around to find out at this point.

being an actual adult mod,which actual adult room are you speaking about as there are two, do u ever actually report these ppl in the room so they flag up for us mods to kick, and as you can see i said kick as that's all us adult mods can do not ban but kick, and as Johnny said we cannot be there 24/7 we have lives out the room, also not everyone using the room can be removed permanently as there are ways around it.and we aren't asking you to screen shoot things report it in the room weather it be a pm or in main chat ,and if you feel that strongly about the room apply to be a mod and help.
i would also like to know how you know only 2 mods show up at a time do you sit in the room 24/7 to see this.because mods come from different time zones and can pop in at any time, because being an adult mod i know i am in more than 10 minutes at a time,when i am not working in real life and having a life out of here.
 
I report constantly. If you ask the two who are there (BeardedNTatted and TheDifference), they would confirm it for you. But when there aren't any mods there, you have limited reports and run out.

Interesting you claim to be there when your account shows you last logged in two days ago. To your credit, most mods are 3-4 days out, but you're not one who is active, no. Mods should be active ********, not people who pop in every 2-3 days. Just my opinion. If you want to explain to me how you can be an effective moderator when you're not actually an active chatter, I'm open to that discussion. If you want to attack me for having a different opinion, you can miss me.

Not more mods, just ✌ Mods from most World regions to cover different time zones

Australia, USA, Europe, Africa and South America.

10 Mods is all any room needs.

Not when they're never there because "they have lives" and can't be bothered to log in for days at a time. LOL! But, yes, 10 mods who are actually active would probably do it. But we both know our mods aren't active.

As I see it, this is why ALL rooms should have mods from different areas of the globe (time zone differences)

On heavy populated rooms, there are plenty of regular users who are more than willing to mod.

Mind your own fking business for once! I thought you were leaving chat and forums after the epic fail post you made in EE , no one cares about you , you bitch and whine yet you were a sh!tty mod and only quit because you were caught out AGAIN , don't make me tell everyone why .

@ OP I have been away , two of the other mods have been away , i fired one for promoting her BF;s site now we are short .
There are two AC rooms that need Modding so its no easy task.
As for the Peds , i have lost count of the times i ban them only for them to use a VPN and come right back in . If the site owners would get a VPN blocker that actually worked then problem solved , a patch has been offered but they declined , why ? you tell me .
I won't be hiring anyone just because we are short , i learned that the hard way ^^^.
