Adult Room Mod Sassie abused her power.

Hi Kim

First of all I just wanted to say that I sent this information to the admin email and am sorry for that as i didn't want to lose the information. I couldn't find a Admin at that time. Please discard that mail as I'm posting the complaint here.

I would like to make a complaint about a moderator in the new version of the "Adult Chat" regarding banning me and what I would call abusing their power.

I was asked by the moderator Sassie to stop spamming the main chat with GIFs. I didn't think I was.

When i asked her questions respectfully about the rules, which I've read below, it didn't say anything about a time limit, spamming or flooding. Even though I definitely understand what spamming is and I understand when and why mods warn about that. Also I would definitely have stopped if I truly thought I was in the wrong here.

I've posted the chat with her as an attachment called "conversation.png". I would say i was pretty respectful in the discussion and was trying to make my case understood but it ended in, and i quote: "being respectful woudld be saying "ok" when being told to stop doing something but you didnt", and seconds after that as i was about to ask another mod online got booted for 2 hours.

To make things clear i have never had problems with mods before. Last time i got told by "Aussie_Rascal" to stop upload GIFs with URLs in them as posting URLS overall was forbidden in the room, as it says in the rules below. And that i totally accepted fully.

But this was definitely abuse of power i think.

The whole conversation and related pictures and proof to the incident are attached below as proof.

the links you have posted do not work.
and you are not allowed to spam or flood or scroll post. there is no need to post anything every minute, its against the rules so when a mod asks you to stop you stop,

vonnie They do work, copy them and simply paste them into a new tab in your browser please. 🙂
With all due respect, I'm not against rules regarding spamming, flooding or whatever, what i was asking about if you read the conversation, was where exactly in the rules shown to us it said there was a time limit on posting stuff. And being totally transparent i attached the site rules that are visible to us users in the page, in the conversation. As i did in here via one of those links.
I simply stated that i couldn't have known i was breaking a rule as it wasn't specified in the list of rules shown to us.

And to be fair you attitude there is exactly what I'm complaining about... you have that title because your assignment is to moderate the room in reflection to the rules that should be visible to us, if their not i think i would have the right to ask where they are written, don't you? Or should i just follow what you say just because you have that badge? Isn't that the definition of abusing your power?

rules are found underneath the chat box. on the chat page. they can also be found here https://forum.chat-avenue.com/forum...-adult-chat-room-rules-banned-mod-information . you should take your issue and your s/s to Kim in her pm box so they can be looked into and you would get an answer.

purplerose Thank you for your answer, i know I've read both rules-lists but no where does it say that there is a specific time limit on up to 3 minutes per post, and everything not fulfilling that time limit is regarded as spamming or flooding. I'm not trying to be a jerk here seriously but I've heard different rules/statements on what is regarded as spam from different mods and i'm just saying i got punished for "not following a direct order" not based on anything I've been able to find a specific rule for.
Sure i can message KIM, but i was told this is the place to write a complaint, if its not I'll gladly remove it. Respectfully, did i misunderstand you in any way?

You posted multiple pics/gifs in about one minute's time. That's spamming. Pure and simple. I had to explain this to you several times and you still questioned it. I also looked at your history and you have been muted/kicked for spam in the past so you know the rules, you just refuse to follow them.
You were not banned, you were kicked and not by me.

normally a user makes a complaint to the admin in their pm box. especially if you want something to change, you want to understand the rules or its a sensitive nature. a public post is more for a cry for attention.
