holy ****, she's precious. american pit bull terrier?

as far as how she'll act with your other dog, i wouldn't be too worried about it. she's only a puppy and assuming, you're going to keep them together..she's going to learn to be social with him. if she was older, i may see a problem with it. i guess the real issue comes with whether your other dog will accept her or not.

i don't know too much about the breed, but i do know they're generally super friendly and very loyal dogs. i know someone who has one actually and she is the sweetest thing ever, even to dogs she's unfamiliar with. she was actually adopted when she was older and had experienced negligence under her original owner's care, then two other dogs attacked her at the animal shelter. the veterinarian actually thought she wouldn't make it, but she did. despite all that, she's still the sweetest thing ever. when i met her, she fell asleep on my lap lol.

i think the media just has put out a really distorted image of the breed and it's sad, because at one point, they were one of the most popular breeds in america. owners are also to blame, because some idiots teach them to fight and because they're so loyal, they're obedient to their owners command. anyway, i'd say socialize her by taking her on walks, doggie parks if possible, or even training classes...only reason for training classes is because they're pretty strong, so you don't want her to think she's like the pack leader and boss around your other dog or completely ignore your commands.

GOOD LUCK.

@ chelle isn't she tho? i'm so in love w/ her. she sleeps right on my neck or on top of me somewhere. she has to be touching me to sleep or she cries. i never thought i wanted a pitbull but my friends had one and she was the sweetest dog and it just so happened that where they got theirs had a new litter so we went and got her and i got the first pick. :')
