although the term lofi comes from *low fidelity*, meaning lower quality or stripped-back production like wat u find in artist such as MF Doom, or earlier Bones...
lofi music however is a mix of several different genres including hip hop, jazz & dream pop... these distinct styles come together to give lofi tracks a cool, relaxed vibe...
with their origins from japan, but due to their viral popularity it is no longer uniquely japanese as ppl all over the world has begun making lofi beats of their own particularly trendy on y0utube...
