Am I banned or just muted?

I was muted earlier today around 4-5 pm in cam chat. I was under the name fuckthis and the reason I was muted was because I "spammed" someone in a private message. I thought the mute would last around 15 minutes but its now 10pm and I don't understand why the muting hasn't been lifted. Am I banned?
