Anthesis of a flower;unknown

To wither,
Withering,
Withered...
Before its inevitable and timely departure,
A simple yet charming bud came before it,
Once it bloomed it reveals a beautiful and intricate arrangement of its folds of its bloomed petals
Mesmerising blend of white and pink;
Of which the saturation was perfect
That was then and this is now,
In place of that small and elegent flower
Imposing gears and cogs;Rust superimposed
Only repetitive and grotesque sights to behold
Unlike the artistically placed petals
