May of 2004 was when the forums went v bulletin. CM just took the user data base from the old forums and made everyones name on the new. Most May 2004 join dates were users already here just moved to the new setup. 17 years is short for some. Neat trick: go to a users profile with the join date of 2004 and look in the address bar. The address bar shows their user number, to see what order they were made.
