I get what you're saying, and that is great and all, but according to former experience, and some closed minded thinking from... Well, christians, or religious people in general, that is not always the case.

It is not all christians, or just christians. But even if they allow you to worship they in most instances are just tolerating.
And christians are not the worse by far, in Saudi Arabia you can me executed for it.

Saudi Arabia... Nope. Never setting my foot in that area. I find it very sad actually that people can have so much hate in them for no real reason. And no "because the book says so" is not a legit reason for me.

As the last Pope said "Who am I to Judge" As far as I know unless you renounce your sexuality you can not be baptized by any christian segment.

If that was Francis, yeah. He was a good pope. How the new one is, I must honnestly say I don't know.
And to just renounce my sexuality isn't possible. It doesn't work like that, and I wouldn't want things differently either. I think I'm fine as it is. 😊

I am not suggesting you should. And this new Pope is an unknown quantity. I doubt he will be any where as liberal as Fransis.

I am baptized, but I was 10. At that age you have no concept really of what you are doing, fortunately I found Science.

I understand what you're saying. It's sad people call themselves christians but don't love all. Yes you're not going to agree on someone's beliefs but it doesn't mean you should hold a grudge, discourage them, insult them or treat them badly in general. I will admit i do get mad with people at times but i go back an apologize.
