Ashleigh Barty retiring from Tennis at 25 . Do you think its a young age to retire at and she wasting her talent doing so ?

For me it is a shame but I agree with her ending on a high is better then trying to achieve more.

I’m not much into tennis but if you have that much talent then it’s always better to end on a high and be remembered as a legend than slowly wither and be remembered as a hasbeen

It is what it is. She has other things in her life that she wants to achieve, most of them don't involve sport, but sport has afforded her the opportunity to do what she wants. Good on her.

If your heart is no longer in the sport or your body is no longer healthy it is best to retire on good terms.

I think Barty has done the wisest thing.
