At what point did you realize your childhood was over?

I'm 53 and I still laugh at farts
I think the same thing. No matter how much science has progressed, they'll never uncover why we find butt clouds to be so hilarious. I mean, burps are only funny when they're from someone you'd least expect to burp but farts are always funny.

prolly when i had to start being an adult as far as responsibilities financial stability etc. became a thing

i'm still very immature though but not to an extent where it negatively impacts my life

When I stopped believing in the tooth fairy. Because I did an experiment to not tell my parents about this tooth of mine. I put that tooth under my pillow without any money given. After telling my parents about the tooth, money was under that pillow. Money that smelt funny, too. Also, putting a tooth under my pillow is gross. If I have kids, there's gonna be a cleaner way to give them money from the "tooth fairy".

yep

Even though my childhood is over, I still like teddy bears (not the ones from "Friday Nights at Freddy's), puppies, rainbows, unicorns, magic, bubble baths that smell excitingly sweet, napping, and going outside to smell nature, especially flowers.

I'll never grow up

I watched "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as a kid. That show made me think about blood-thirsty vampires, Hollywood writers making female characters look like sexually objectified damsels in distresses defined by having relationships with people rather than badasses misogynistically, America's anti-intellectual culture because characters like Willow get butchered intellectually, and microchipped Spike ruining it after season 3. It got turned into a bimbofied soap opera show that turns Willow and Buffy into dumber versions of themselves after season 3. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" destroyed my childhood even more. Sarah Michelle Gellar even got tired of acting in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" after season 3. I don't blame her. She is too smart for that show considering her 4.0 G.P.A. and above average intelligence.

I still haven't realised it yet and i'm in my 20s. Take your time and grow up when you want to. The real world is incredibly monotonous and the same old boring routine day after day after. Wake up > have a shower > put on clothes > leave house > go to work > return to house > cook dinner > eat dinner > sit on your fat ass cos your too cream crackered to do anything else thanks to work > then go to bed. Repeat tomorrow and every day until you reach retirement. So take risks, have some fun and excitement, do whatever you want and f u ck the world and the people in it, because it's your life and you only get one go at it.

As soon as I turned 13, I was like yeah, childhood's over. But of course, 13 is when I started coming to this site although back then Adobe flash was still around. Gosh, I miss those days. I do believe as soon as I entered high school, I was like yeah, time to grow up

when I got arrested for running around in my underwear making fire engine noises in the grocery store ..that was last week

Idk but when you're in your 30s and feel like you're 60 you're pretty much dead certain you're grown up, cus all those old timers we ignored when we were younger are all coming back to us now in our memories, "there will come a day when you know what I'm talking about."

When I have to take myself off to bed instead of falling asleep and being magically transported. Fuuuuuuuuuuuu

When I realised I was looking after my parents (Making their appointments, checking they've eaten/slept/taken medicine etc) instead of them looking after me.

lol I caught my father being Santa clause 😁

I realized my childhood was over when my mom asked me to help her find a company to change the windows in her house. that's when I thought, am I not a baby anymore? Good thing I reached out to my best friend in a panic and she recommended company for this. Otherwise, I don't know how I would have handled it, because I have no experience in choosing windows and everything else for the house.
