They’re nuisance-y intruders, for sure, lol. A quick and simple way to avoid them is by setting your PMs to “Friends Only.”

If you'd rather keep your PMs open, no worries - just click the gear icon (⚙️) within the PM to report it, that way the staff can step in and take care of it.
