Hmm I will keep a close look at this. If she is infact (I'm assuming we're talking about Deadly Nightshade since you didn't put a name) posting personal information she should be reprimanded. I haven't seen this type of behaviour from this user, I've logged in and haven't heard this from you, Bread.

There's a difference in favoring users and not really paying attention to the chat when the mod is logged in. Reason why I'm not in the chat as long is because I actually try to pay attention, if I can't I log off, and this is a universal mod rule. I'd bring this up with Greg if it's a big issue (moderator wise). Ultimately I think the issue is mostly with the user, use the blocking tool if she's causing more trouble. If you could just let us know if it is infact Deadly Nightshade so I can look closely at this.
 
There's a lot of back and forth between Bread and Morrigan. That's ultimately what this boils down to. They're no longer together and they want to fight or whatever and they want as many people involved in their game as possible. If not, they'd just ignore each other and go about things but nowhere in the rules at all does it say that if a user is rude to another user they should be kicked for 6 hours. Repeated harassment and trying to get people to rally against another user is not tolerated. This is the game that both Morrigan and her ex-hubby play and unfortunately have no screenshots to prove any of this. I apologize if you felt hurt by what I said. To summarize: ignore is there for a reason and moderators can't issue a 6 hour kick to someone just because they said a couple of rude things to you that day.

It could be worse afterall. There's some mods like Spleeny who have been unprofessional and talking **** about users on different platforms.
 
That's the problem, man. The VGC admin is never in the chat and doesn't reply to forum PM's. Actually contacting Greg is pointless unfortunately. We get encouraged to PM him but if he never replies not much we can do.
 
Us moderators have seen enough of deadly Nightshades remarks to determine the appropriate way of dealing with her. I myself have pmed her drop her controversy and to stop. Bread himself has given me plenty of evidence. I'm sure all of us moderators will be on the same page when we have to deal with her.

I'm sure Greg will see this and determine what to do. He always gives us moderators feed back on the moderator forums page and replies to us.

Only Admins can request threads to be closed. In this case it would have to be Greg, Video Games Chat Admin

Awesome_Jason Moderator complaint from VideoGamesChat (REBUTTAL)

The following serves as a rebuttal to the accusations made about Awesome_Jason. I understand that by making this post it may only aid towards the beliefs that Awesome_Jason favors girls in chat, but this is not the intent. The sole purpose of my post is to defend a good moderator; something which happens to be rare to find. Awesome_Jason has been accused of favoring girls in chat, but I hope to disprove this.

This accusation stems from a user being upset his ex gf is allowed on chat. None of this should have ever involved Jason.

I, Poison Jess/Poison Ivy/Elena, have known Jason for a few years now. We have developed a friendship, however despite this he still takes his moderating duties seriously.

The link above shows my mute history. Despite being friends for so long, Jason still righteously enforces chat rules, with the proper consequences. The proof used as leverage over Jason are screenshots of another user, Audrey/Deadly Nightshade, saying Jason won't take action against her because she is a girl. This is not only false but inadequate information. Awesome_Jason has confronted her multiple times. She has also been kicked from the chat for multiple hours, many times for her behavior. This only contradicts what she is claiming. Audrey/Deadly Nightshade is also a user known to start drama and lie. No one would should count what she says as valid proof.

This post will be short for now, and I will add more screenshots and proof as I accumulate it. Thank you for reading.

A couple things wrong here.
First and foremost this complaint isn't about her its about you. What it ultimately boils down to is what you choose to do (or not do in this case) based on the facts provided to you. When i show you anything to do with her its met with skepticism and criticism. Its a lie that i want anything to do with this woman and I don't want anyone involved but its unfortunate that I have to involve moderators when she is chasing me everywhere. Whatever she tells you is beyond me. If I choose to ignore her like i was doing in all these screenshots btw, you don't seem to do anything. If I don't ignore her then i can actually see what she is doing and report her actions instead of just overlooking them. I can ignore a person just talking trash, what i cant ignore is a person posting sensitive/personal information.

No this is the game that she plays, and you are her pawn. It is literally dis-proven in the last screenshot I posted above. I provided you and other mods with screenshots. The other mods examined her behavior and acted accordingly. You on the other hand seem to disapprove of anything I say about her, which is why I don't send you anything anymore. What I predicted would happen, did happen, and now other users are also being harassed because of it. Again, this isn't about her its about about how you should be moderating and examining facts. Not about what Ive said about her, not about what shes said about me, but about what is being reported.

I think we can consider this case closed also that stuff from other sites is something you need to address elsewhere.

Agreed 100%. Jason is a very fair mod.
