Ban Appeal

Yesterday, my little brother with username maxofallthings was banned somewhere between 4 and 6pm eastern us time. He was on the main board and didn't understand the abbreviations and jargon one of the spam bots was using. When he asked in main what STR meant, the system blocked the term with ***, so he repeated it in a second post immediately after, so that it did show. The system autoblocked him, site banned him, and banned his account. Now, he can't even get into the site to remake an account.

Please, if you go back and review the logs, you'll see that it wasn't his intent to do anything underhanded. It was a misunderstanding. The flags and system autoblocks are important and nobody is telling you to change anything, but when it drags someone in by accident, then please let there be understanding and fixing of the situation. Max is a nice kid and follows the rules. Please help him.

NorCal has left this thread to me. As I was the mod who caught the infringement and reported for a ban. This user didn’t ask what it meant and I was in the room at the time (invisible) the user decided to say the comment posted on the screenshot. Can’t even come to the forums themself. Ofc a “family member” needs to come on here and post on their behalf. We get this all the time Nor fairly bans someone and instantly a family member comes on questioning the ban. This family member messages me today knowing the ban was last night at the time on the screenshot asking about it. Pretending they didn’t know they was asking for CP and trading links. Ban will absolutely not be lifted and if you want to hear it from the admins mouth I will get @NorCal to comment aswell. We get enough predators in the room and us boys chat mods are all experienced and know what we are doing

Also you use the same username on the forums as the banned account but it’s now your little bro, you guys need to make up your mind 🙂 ban life denied
