by excluding a group of people based on a difference weather it be a preference, a belief or a physical feature is infact provocative as it will create hate speech and THAT is why today's society is so divided.

I will await the cancel cultures perceived offence at these stated facts.

No canceling here. I see your point. But I would say that anytime someone tries to exclude someone based on age, race, gender, etc. it would be more discriminatory rather than hate speech. That’s why we have anti-discrimination laws in the US. I do agree that society today is VERY divided and the way people treat each other in these forums is a microcosm of that divide.

Thank you. As a transgender woman myself the term trannies, or shemale is entirely derogatory and offensive. When I see ******** using those terms in their names I know right away they’re fake, because no self respecting transgender woman would ever use those words to describe themselves. It might not always be deliberate of someone uses them. Maybe they don’t know they’re being offensive. So I try to use it as a learning opportunity to inform people.

Agreed about the correct use of terminology. In this case it might be that she isn’t well versed in the correct terms. In a previous thread they made a comment about WASP’s but it was clear they didn’t understand the meaning behind that term. Js

Uhmm that’s literally what you said. I thought we could have an adult conversation but I forgot who you actually are. As for being liked or not, I honestly don’t care if people here like me. Life isn’t a popularity contest. What’s more important (for me) is how you treat people and making a positive difference in the world.

Being called dumb by a person who doesn’t know the difference between “weather” and “whether” doesn’t really carry much weight.

Then you deny saying it, and when that's pointed out, double down on "you are dumb" ?

I was hoping you would give honest thought to the possibility, (that how you and others see the subject of this thread ) might be driven at least in part by inconsistencies in what you say/think you are actually offended by.

I made no implications either way, I was simply encouraging her to use a more appropriate term. I have found the transgender staff members to be nothing but kind, patient, and informative when speaking about what it means to be transgender. If she has any interest in expanding her knowledge, she has resources readily available to answer any questions she might have.

As an aside, shout-out to the aforementioned staff members for having the patience of a saint when in the face of ignorance and hatred.
