Banned as Spam for chatting about history, using dates like 13,000-14,000 too many times maybe?

Hi,

My names is Elijah, I love chat avenue, but recently I was having a conversation with a friend about historical places and dates, and I assume this is what triggered our conversation as spam because I kept chatting about different dates 11,000 years old 12,000 years old etc. I was not trying to subvert censors or anything like that. I think if someone reads the conversation you can easily verify what we're talking about. I completely understand why using dates like that was triggered as spam.

Elijah again, so mods on here have kept my ban, and decided that me explaining to the person who I was chatting with that the site was censoring me says 13,000 and 14,000 years because it blocks when ever you out 15 14 etc you could be talking about weight, like 140 it still blocks it. While the main chat is littered with people spamming CP which this site seems incapable of stopping. In the chat I was banned for, the person asked why the site blocks numbers and i told him and that is why I got banned. I will be happy to make the entire chat public to prove, I did nothing wrong and Chat Ave bans people for no reason while letting true abusers run rampant on the site. I don't want to be unbanned, this site doesn't deserve my content, I will just use a different site. If mods honestly read my chat and chose to keep the ban I want nothing to do with this site anymore. And I am far from new I have used this site for years and I used to be a VIP. I always follow the rules, I am always nice to people even when they are rude out of all the things I have seen and read on that site it is a fuckin joke to be banned for what I got banned for. My advice is build a system that actually stops spam from hitting our pms everyday, stop the real CP bots and stop banning real accounts for doing nothing wrong.

See, the issue is, no one that has the sort of power to actually stop the bots, cares enough to do so. The Chatmasters don't log on more than once a year or so and the Admins/mods in the channels have very little power aside from banning people. I was banned and an Admin couldn't even tell me the reason why. That shows you how much they really have access to. I think it's also important to remember that the Admins and Mods are doing this for free. There isn't much incentive to go out of their way to find some "groundbreaking" way to prevent bots from entering their chatrooms.

I think it's best to just expect the worst from sites like these and move on. I've made a ton of online friends here that I enjoy chatting with which is why I even stick around. Do I ever expect my account to be unbanned? Nope. Will I ever find out why it was randomly banned for 10 years? Nope.

Just make a new account and move on, brother. (p.s - totally agree with you though.)

If you actually read my post you would have read that I am not a new user I have used this site for years, this account was 3 days old because I just came back from being inactive, I was a VIP member in the past, as you may know these censors are not used as much on VIPs so when I am typing I forget that, I was talking to someone about historical sites although in hindsight I realize that was dumb, but to accuse me of intentionally trying to subvert censors is blatantly false, the conversation we are having is not even sexual that is why this whole thing is ridiculous.

When the person I was chatting with who was new to the site asked me why the numbers keep getting censored out I told him "you cant say 14 or 15 bc there are a bunch of sickos on this site" if that is breaking the rules, fine I broke the rules.

The point remains the same, real accounts get blocked while bots are allowed to roam free, I have built multiple online communities, bots are hard to stop but they are not impossible it just takes some effort. And also community reporting you know so it isn;t all on the mods.

Oh no! This random guy who was never heard of before today and will probably never be heard from again after tomorrow is threatening us! oh right...people have tried this before, haven't they? You wouldn't be the first to try to "expose" the site and you certainly won't be the last. The site has been up for a long time and will be up much longer so it must be doing something right, and "exposing" it will do nothing but waste your time which I'm sure could be used for much better things.

As for the cp bots, we try to get rid of them as fast as we can when they pop up in any room. Unfortunately, this is very difficult due to the fact that they adapt and find ways to bypass it everytime. We do our best but noone is perfect. We will continue trying our best everyday to get rid of them and keep the site safe
