Banned for Spam

Hope all is well.

I was just banned for spamming in the Adult chat room on my account with this same email address. I was dming a person when I was banned, although I was unaware I broke any rules, so I am curious what I did to be considered spam.

Is there anyway I could be unbanned? Or at least a farther explanation?

The bot likely banned you because you were sending messages too fast either in DMS or in general chat. Try to take it slow while chatting. I know it sucks but its there to set a wall for bots who actually spam. Hope you understood, thanks!

Thanks for letting me know! I remember clearly that I only sent one or two private messages within I’d say a five minute span of time, and didn’t engage in the general chat at all. I got banned for spam right when I sent that second message.

  • ghostboy
  • Which room were you kicked/banned from
  • Adult chat - unregistered? (Can’t remember the exact name)
  • Are you complaining about a kick or a ban?
  • Ban
  • What was the reason given for the kick/ban?
  • Spam
  • How long was the kick/ban for?*
  • It didn’t say
  • Why do you feel the kick/ban was not justified?
  • Was privately dming a user when I tried to get around the censor with an “ò”instead of “o” when saying the word “mommy”. I did not know in advance that this would get me banned, and had been saying it like that cause it was in the persons username I was messaging.
  • Date and approx. time of kick/ban
  • July 17th, around 12:30am EST
  • Do you know the name of the Moderator/Admin that kicked/banned you?
  • Unknown, looks like an automated ban
Did not realize I should have filled this out properly, thanks again!

Hello and welcome to the Forums. I understand you’re trying to be helpful but since you don’t know why the person was banned, it’s best to not speculate. Because in this case you’re wrong, and I’m sure you don’t want to confuse the person making the appeal.

Hello, you’re correct. You were banned for trying to bypass the filter. You knew that word was not allowed yet you tried to type it anyway.

Well, I would need you to read the rules and confirm that you understand what is allowed and what isn’t allowed in the room. And you would also need to confirm that you understand that any type of RP of that kind is also not allowed.

I see rules on the bottom of the home page, let me know if there’s any others elsewhere I need to read.

I have taken my time to carefully read the rules and can confirm that I understand what is allowed and what isn’t, I also understand that RP with certain word usage also is prohibited.

Please let me know what else is needed from me or what else I need to read through, and thank you so much once again for your time.

Also if you don’t mind, I have a question about the censor. Sometimes a word gets blurred out (Like so: *** ) that I didn’t know was a banned word at all, or fragments of larger words will be bleeped out as they technically spell out a banned word within them. Would things like this get me instantly auto banned in the future?

I don’t mind at all. Yes, you’re correct that some words, combinations of words or word fragments will trigger the system filter to execute a ban. If this happens to you in the future just private message me here and I will work with you to get it resolved. Fair?
