Banned for spamming?

Hi, i was using guest login and I was in teen chat and a pedo was trying to trade cp files so i sent a dead link to try troll them before i reported them and i got instant banned for sending a link. it says i got banned for spam but i only sent the link once. i had a mini heart attack because im bi but i haven’t come out yet so i got scared when it said it might send my info to the police. i thought that links were ok to send but im sorry if they aren’t it just said that it was up to the opener to be responsible. hope you understand the situation.

@SirDucky2000 links of that nature are not okay to send under any context. If you haven't done anything illegal, law enforcement will not be contacted. However, in your own explanation, you admitted to sending a link to a pedo/CP trader instead of reporting them? This is..dumb, to say the least.

Why on Earth would anyone without criminal intentions do that? What could you possibly have to gain from that? That's a pathetic excuse. Any normal person wouldn't have interacted with them in the first place, and immediately reported them.

The only reason to be scared is if you've done something illegal, and clearly, you have.
