banned over a misunderstanding

hello I was a user of the teen chat and my username is unsaltedbutter. I was just talking in main when someone mentioned something or posted a picture related to animal grooming. you know.. maintaining the hygiene and health of your pet. I love animals and admittedly I do have a dark sense of humor. so I wrote "I love grooming" as a joke. I take pride in the pets I have owned and I really did put a lot of effort into keeping them clean and happy. so ultimately my statement was factually true. I do love grooming.. animals. however the mods of the room decided they didn't care about any of that context. all they saw was a 3 word message and thought to themselves "ooh an opportunity to use my power don't mind if I do!" and kicked me for an hour. if that was all that had happened I'd be okay with that. like I said my humor is dark i understand if it can make someone uncomfortable. but to BAN me? with the only reason being "Sounds like a pedophile to me"? while good intentioned I'm sure we have to start using our brains more effectively when taking permanent action like this. this sets a horrible precedent for communication. imagine if I was a babysitter or studying to become a teacher one day. if I had said "I love kids" is that a bannable offense just because it's something a **** would say? what upsets me even more is that even accusing someone of being a pedophile is grounds for a kick/ban without sufficient evidence. what evidence was there that im a pedophile? I could say I love making bombs. is that alone proof that I'm a terrorist? I'm sorry if this post is longer than what's needed but this really bothers me. I hope you guys can understand that this didn't need to happen and restore more account. additionally I'd like to know who decided that it was appropriate to go as far as banning me when a warning would've sufficed. thank you!
 
Who works for free ? If you don't get paid for your labor
A: your time/skills are useless
B you're an idiot
C you're a fool that's been bamboozled that working for free should be fine excluding actual charity that actually helps people i give that a pass

So why get upset ? Go outside meet real people and fix your malnourished of real socialization soul.

There are rules to be held up. Its 2026, and saying something like that in a teen chat is very serious. You said yourself that you meant it as dark humor which makes the whole “I groom my pets” explanation afterward kind of irrelevant. You weren't originally saying “I love grooming” because you were talking about taking care of your cats. You said it as a dark joke, and only afterward brought up grooming your pets as an explanation.
i understand that grooming animals is a completely normal thing, but that doesn't change the context in which you originally said it. Nobody is saying that taking care of your pets is wrong. The issue is the meaning you intended when you made the joke and the fact that you chose to make that joke in a teen chat.
