So that you don't have to put down loads of money experimenting!

Clinique
Clinique is a somewhat pricey line, but not at the top end of the price range. What I love about Clinique products is that they have a line for each skin type and it is a 3 step skin care solution and you can choose different products to suit your skin. I love Clinique Liquid Facial Soap in Mild (step 1) and the Clarifying Lotion which is step 2 and the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap - great product but for all it does you could probably go with somethin cheaper and be just as satisfied

Clarifying Lotion/Toner - now this is what I put out my money for, I've never had a toner work so well and clear my skin up so well

Dramatically Different Lotion - I love this stuff. It is amazing and it goes on really smoothly. If you apply it at night you'll notice a huge difference in your skin in the morning and it leaves it feeling really soft.

Clean and Clear
A much cheaper line but a lot of the products in this line work great.

C&C Blackhead Clearing Scrub - I LOVE this product. I used it in the morning and it just feels like all the crap on your skin has been zapped and your skin is much clearer. By far the cheapest, yet most effective product.

Estee Lauder
I love EL makeup, but I recently shelled out $50 for a moisturizer called Hydra Bright and it is one of the best moisturizers I've ever had. It gives you an amazing glow and its great as a makeup primer as well. It makes your skin feel so fresh.

Elizabeth Arden
2-in-1 cleanser....it's simple and it makes your face feel clean, but really its nothing special. I just use it cause I got it for free, but I'm still waiting to find my magical night time cleanser aside from Clinique.

My Daily Routine:
AM: Clean and Clear Exfoliator with Estee Lauder HydraBright Cream
PM: Clinique or Elizabeth Arden Face Wash with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer

Spa Night and what you should do to get a beautiful result

Spa Night and what you should do to get a beautiful result

  • Well if you have acne I suggest Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash pink grapefruit foaming scrub
  • Or if you have dry flakey skin, I suggest : Mary Kay extra emollient night cream.
  • And for those dark circles, I suggest : Merlot Natural Grape Sead eye cream.
I would suggest applying all products every.... mmmm.... maybe every 4 hours or so. 🙂 Anyways yeah, hope you get fabulous results.

I have flakey skin and I always confused it for dry skin, but my dermatologist said you can have oily and flakey skin, the flake just means you're not exfoliating enough. So if anyone feels like their skin is flakey.. exfoliate! It worked.

I use the Clinique 3 step, you're supposed to do it morning/night. I wouldn't recommend mixing other brands with it. The 3 step is really good but I would get their exfoliator also.

I was talking about using other things with the clinique 3 step.

I wouldnt use anything that is tested on animals ... If yo have problem skin there are loads of products out there ... E.g ... The Body Shop do great ranges and have skin consultants in store at all times to give you advice and find your perfect skin regime and its totally free!! They will also give you advice on make up to suit your skin type..... <3

The Body Shop is fucking expensive, but I do treat myself in that shop every now and again.
Or whenever Alan's in my bad books, I get him to treat me. 😛:

I've never had a real problem with blackheads, although I do get the occasion spot now and again- mostly after I've just had a shave-, instead of forking out money on products, I use a dot of toothpaste and it gradually goes down in over 3 days. It's cheap a cheerful, and it does work.

For fresh looking skin, I use Dove moisturiser. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and soft, and it only costs ?3.99 for the 75ml bottle. The 150ml [I think] bottle is just over ?5. It's worth the money if you want to have fresh, radiant soft skin. I use it morning and nightly, or before I'm going out.

After I've done that, if I'm going out, I'll use that new roll-on foundation. It's brilliant! It gives your skin a nice elegant tone and it leaves no aftermath mess. Easily washed off with baby wipes. It's better than powder foundation, because if incorrectly put on, leaves powdery flakes as well as a highly noticable lines of unevenness. Same with the liquid foundation where you have to 'slap' it on.
It's worth it.

Anyone who dabbles with makeup should be able to know their types and whatnot. Or else, what's the point in putting it on? To me, having someone telling you what make-up to use is just plain embarrassing. Imagine going out with make-up on, then being told you've not to wear that type because of your skin type. Lol. Should know better. 😱

They're like those nosy bastards in beauty shops who come up and say ''Can I help you sir?'' Eh, NO. Just because I'm male, doesn't mean I know fuck all about make-up. Last time the bitch did that, I told her I was a drag queen. She soon fucked off with her tail between her legs. 🙂

The Body Shop isnt expensive Lukaaaaaa , Maybe your just a tight arse 🙂 :dontknow: Not EVRYONE knows their skin type !! Just because you do DONT assume others do. NOW HUSH :shy:

I've got tons of crap but i'm using Avon Clinical Advanced Dermabrasion System (posh name for a really good facial scrub) at the mo and liking that a lot. Their Anew Reversalist Renewal is lovely, leaves your skin feeling really nice. Also got the Anew Instant Facelift cream but i don't reckon much to that and won't be spending 20-odd quid on it again.

If you want a medium to full coverage foundation without the pricey
tag i'd recommend Revlon Colourstay it's a bit hard to blend but if applied
with a damp sponge it works nicely.

Ooh, now this is my thread.
A beauty therapist' e-heaven. :reallysad: Revlons Colourstay is good. It doesn't have a small variety of colour matches, it's a wide selection, 20 shades i believe. Some other good foundations i'd s***est that are inexpensive are Neutrogena Healthy Skin. It's best for Summer because it has an SPF of 20. Also great for Winter as it gives a dewy finish, and it's medium coverage, low side is that there is only 12 shades which are warmer colours. And just a heads up; I found a website online that sells MAC products for cheap. I ordered some not long ago. I couldn't believe how cheap these were. If you want to know the website, i'll link you all. 🙂

As foundation.
I use plain white powder by Star Gazer.
As that's the only one that suits my skin.
Go me. -.-

Favorite nail color:

Orange Fizz by Chanel - Ridiculously expensive, but the color is so AMAZING! It's the prettiest coral in the freakin' world!

Favorite lipstick atm:

Candy Yum Yum by Mac - It's the PERFECT fuchsia AND it's matte!!! On me it looks more pink than fuchsia but IDC, I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Favorite mascara:

Maybelline's Illegal Length Mascara - Because it's cheap, natural looking, and it doesn't clump up on me

Face Cream.

Pond`s Cold Cream is really good for removing dirt on your skin before you go to bed and after you wake up. It really has made a huge difference to my skin and is suitable for normal to dry skin. It`s cheap as well so that`s another pro and it has a rose scent off of it. It`s divine and I definitely recommend it.

Face Masks.

Rather than spending money at a spa for a face mask or any other products, I think Montagne Jeunesse are the best. Low price, various mask from mud to peel off to scrubs. They work perfectly and can range from different skin types. I prefer the mud masks and scrubs to the peel offs since they manage to capture the most amount of dirt and bacteria hiding up your skin and leave it feeling refreshed and smooth. They also have pore strips made from volcanic ash to clean deep down and leave your pores looking invisible. They also have masks for your hair and scrubs for your feet, so I urge you all to try them out for yourselves and I hope you enjoy them like I did.
