Exactly!!!! This shouldn't even harm the revenue like you said! There is already a lot of registered users in the bigger rooms, many people that get VIP on the spot for a handful of fancy features.
It shouldn't hurt to make this ability, considering this will encourage first timers to either simply make an account, or even get VIP themselves for the sake of that specific ability if it was available!

Its counter productive to the existance of guests.
Guest feature, especially to "newcomers" is basically a demo mode.
Why would guests stay or even register when most VIP users will have this option ticked on.
Guests will be "ghosted" and just be talking to other guests trolling, spamming and advertising backlinks.
Guest dont stay = less advertising = less money

We have enough users and newcomers that actually do make accounts, it shouldn't matter considering the majority of guests that repeatedly come are simply regs or trolls in disguise, not actual newbies. 😑

This sentence is contradictory. You are saying we have enough new people coming in (guests)making accounts. You are also saying all guests are just the same old regular trolls in disguise.
VGC hasnt had a new person in like 4 years. Unless you count the female catfishes that mysteriously know everyones habits in the chat and somehow know not to update their pictures.

They all will use it for the reason you stated, majority of guests are trolls, spammers and bots.
It may drive up VIP satisfaction but its going to drive down guests, and disrupt the SEO, engagement, ad revenue, backlinks, and client acquisition because of low retention.
If customer satisfaction was a priority in this business it would have been implemented long ago. Along with the removal of all these idiot moderators.
This is a business after all and from what I gather its not unsuccessful.

agreed. and very unlikely they'll prohibit guests from posting because the focus is getting them to chat..to try out the chat rooms before they decide to become members..
