The fact that it has got worse over the last 12 months, even in rooms that prior to the last 12 months had no admin, only 2 moderators and over 800 people in the chat room, should be indicative of the direction that the owners are taking the whole site.

It'll be okay. They will get new, better mods like Katie and Shark Bait in gen chat eventually then the bots will get kicked more. Based on the stories I have heard I think they are taking their time picking a new admin and mods to be more thorough in who gets that title. Be patient and just enjoy chat. You can also create your own private room or have a VIP do it. Then go there when the spam starts. Mods are not a solve everything solution. You as a user can create your own solutions and use the features we have been given.
