I prefer a comfortable camping with my RV.

I also like RVing. Actually, all my family enjoys it. And it is great as we can have a good time together.
Speaking about your question, I've recently checked the 300w solar panels and I'm thinking about getting one. I'm going to use it mostly for my RV, it should make our trips more comfortable. However, such panels are supposed to be effective in any challenging outdoor environment conditions. Who knows what can happen, with the panel, I would be more prepared for various situations like a blackout, for instance.
