Now if i hadn't live through it myself i'd be calling bullshit and propaganda .One night many many years ago i went to sleep fully healthy and no problems. when i woke up I was violently ill I couldnt hold down anything,including water ..eh .. just the Flu or something i thought ..i'll be fine. Little did i know i was about to go on sleigh ride through hell
My cure all,a big bowl of green,only intensified the effects and made me twice as sick. Not being able to eat i started to drop weight rapidly and the only thing that made me feel better was hot showers. i made a many trips to the hospital at the time Doctors had no idea what they were dealing with. after thirty days plus I looked like a death camp survivor.. just wanting it to end I scheduled myself for exploratory surgery.. a couple of weeks before i went under the knife i talked to my friends mom who was a nurse ,after hearing my symptoms she took me out to her garden and pulled a bushel of wild peppermint..she told me to make tea out of it and it with handle the nausea .. and it worked!! little by little a was able to eat and after i few weeks the sickness was gone as mysteriously as it showed up. Until earlier this year i still had no idea what it was I just referred to it as "The Mystery Illness" ..Now with the Use Of Marijuana becoming more wide spread More cases are cropping up. So far the Information is limited but I have not read anything about CBDs or edibles

Well, there is such thing as Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome but to know more information about it is better reading some extra information as you can see it doesn't touch everyone and there are many options to get rid of it.

People...don't take this small group of "Cannabis Teletubbies" for granted. They are addicts and will kill for their addiction if need to be. Think with your head. Cannabis is a bad thing in general. Do not get hooked on that sh it.

If you think cannabis addict's will kill for their addiction you must be a fool. We ain't talking crack here. Cannabis probably has saved more people then you will ever comprehend. There is nothing wrong with cannabis just like there is nothing wrong with your medicine. It's the consumer who needs to draw a border, too much of anything is lethal, saying cannabis is bad is hypocritical and downright foolish. Little do you know most of the medicine out there is made by ''bad'' substances.

The condition that is written here is RARE. Sorry to hear of you getting such a rare condition such as this. I am sure your doctors are on top of this ? I hope so for your health.
We have marijuana stores on about every street corner of the town north of us, some day i may just go to one to see what all the hype is about ..... Our state grows so much marijuana there is not enough people to buy it all and this is the first time i ever heard of this rare condition .
However, rare condition or not I will continue to vote for the legalization of marijuana . I just think it is good for our economy and those who use such things for medical purposes .
I heard at one time just because something is grown from the ground does not mean everyone can use , take, eat such things.

My prostatitis has been misdiagnosed as Cannabis Hyperemesis . I first was diagnosed with prostatitis at 14 years old, it went away during my adult years until the age of fourty. Unknowingly I became extremely depressed starting to live an unhealthy lifestyle of poor diet etc. Bouts of swollen painful prostatitis appeared. Six years ago the specialist found a swollen prostate and cysts growing in my kidneys, so the focus was on the cysts, while my prostatitis became more problematic. One day I finally went to the emergency station and after finding out I smoked cannabis regularly, they all focused on CHS, and couldn’t bother to give me on single rectal exam, the rest is history folks!!! It took me a few years to put it all together because of my severe depression but doctors, please reel in your narrow mindedness!
 
I can say that I use a more proven type of treatment than cannabis. For example, lately I have been using a drug called Modafinil. It is a nootropic that helps me get rid of sleepiness.
