I know the topic has been beaten down and ignored...but chat-avenue has a user who I think most of us are aware of.

When I first started this quest to bring down the said person who is stalking users, it was tough, as most of the people that were doxed already ended up gone. Surprise surprise...but with a bit of obsession, cringe, observation, and a very loud OCD mouth, I have managed to encourage users to stay by bringing light to his actions.

We now have multiple users, an admin, and a mod who have become victim...some of which often bring light to the doxing/stalking that occurs.

Even if we bring the proof to the admins of the chats he frequents, the only hard proof we have is off chat-avenue. Apparently, the rules of things that happen off of chat-avenue are nonexistent. This needs to change...


Complaint:
@Chatmaster this user is syphoning other users off your platform, taking them to his disc server, and when things don't go his way, he proceeds to flex by threatening them with their person information. He uses this server to locate the personal information of other users on chat-avenue. I have also seen it done in chat.

I get that you guys can't control the users here, but he is using your platform as an outlet to commit federal crimes. He is also killing your userbase. Even though we are shedding much light on the situation as possible, he is still committing the federal crimes, again using your website.

Your disclaimer claims this website is for entertainment value, yet we can't even joke around anymore. We have to think twice about what we say, because any stupid little detail can reveal our location. I sold my Truck, cause he was posting GIfs he found online of the exact same model and color. I showed him my truck a long time ago, and I don't even know how he remembered.

This user often brags about how much money gives the website, and I just got to assume that he is allowed to commit these federal crimes because he is paying the company off.

I am really at a loss here, as I am with many of the subjects I bring up. Surely the unwillingness of this company to stop the subjects that are often crimes in my country has won. I am burnt out. I am just going to send things in as complaints, make sure there are records of it all, and I guess we will see where things go from there. 🙂

It's odd how this user showed up right after you spoke about this thread in VGC.

Off site actions against users should be taken into consideration, considering the severity of all of this. He's not just stalking users anymore, he's now moved onto mods as he has in the past. After most rooms have experienced his behavior, he has now moved onto Gen chat where he feels he can find fresh meat and recruit people for his server.

Every room he's gone to, people have had to delete or migrate to a new room to avoid him and its hard for ADMINS to take action when he does it under guest profiles using exploits. With common sense, they know it's him but they have to go by the books so nothing ever is done.

I don't believe anything will get done but people in Gen will figure him out and that'll be the end of that considering the number of users in there out number any room and word travels fast. In the meantime, save everything you in case legal action is needed, but you're an intelligent person and I'm sure you've been doing that.
 
Any instances of doxxing, to the level being described, need to to be reported to staff. We deal in proof, and in my case, I don't ban people based on innuendo, gossip or interpersonal dramas. (I'm not saying OP is doing that) I can say, that I know, that site admin expects room admins to concentrate on their rooms, and deal with rules issues specific to their rooms. It sounds like there is a user in mind, OP thinks should be "universally banned"? and if that's the case- there is only one person who can decide if it's serious enough to order that, I suggest taking your concern to Chatmaster's inbox, and room admins inbox as needed.
