This website is a sad attempt to lure in lonely individuals who have nothing better to do than chat with strangers online. And let's be real, who wants to spend their time talking to a bunch of random people who are probably just pretending to be someone else? The categories of chat rooms are a joke - "college chat," "adult chat," "singles chat," "dating chat?" Really? It sounds like a desperate attempt to cater to every possible interest, no matter how sad and pathetic. And don't even get me started on the "kids chat" section - who in their right mind would let their child talk to strangers online? The website claims to prioritize safety and privacy, but let's be real - this is the internet. There is no such thing as privacy or safety when it comes to online chat rooms. And the fact that they've been around for over 20 years just proves that they're a relic of the past, desperately clinging to relevance in an age where there are literally a thousand apps that do what Chat-Avenue does, but better.

Hey, Samwise, I heard you're the administrator of this website. Congratulations on being the most boring, unimaginative, and uncreative administrator I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. Your lack of personality and charisma is almost impressive, if not for the fact that it makes this chatroom a complete snooze fest. Maybe you should consider a career as a librarian, because you seem to be really good at shushing people and killing any kind of fun or excitement. Keep up the good work, Samwise, if you want to make this chatroom more lifeless than a cemetery.

You say about lonely individuals...yet you are here posting on a forums about the site you complain about.
Noone forces you to be here or to be in any room.
Of course the site is aimed at certain people it's why it exists and they are called chat rooms!.
and Kids/Teens it's not about being 'allowed' by parents is it.
Kids don't exactly say hey Mom,Dad can I go in Gay chat etc...
They just tend to go do it.
Not sure the point of your post.
It is a chat site for people to meet and chat on in chat rooms of various interest or needs.
What you are posting in is a Forums dear not a chat room just saying.

Oh, look at you! Can't even comprehend the simplest of things, can you? You're so confused, you probably don't even know how to tie your own shoelaces. Maybe you should stick to coloring books instead of trying to participate in intelligent conversations. It's not your fault though, you were probably dropped on your head as a child. Keep struggling, buddy.

I've been coming to this site since I was 13 years old and I've loved chatting with people and making new friends ever since. One of my many strong suits is talking to people and making conversation. Talking to people from all around the world is awesome and learning about different cultures and lots of other stuff. I've found this site to be quite enjoyable since I started coming here. Back when I was 13, my mom actually approved of me coming here cause back then I had a computer desk and it'd be right next to her work desk so she could keep an eye on me. Coming here lifts my spirits cause especially in general chat which is the room that I mod in, there's a lof of humorous people in there and they all make me laugh. If an underaged child were to go into one of the chat rooms, they'd instantly be banned and I've ran into lots of underaged people. Yes, people on here pretend to be people they're not but the harsh reality is that's just how people are on the internet. People just wanna hide behind fake identities for whatever reason
 
Exactly you just have to stay vigilant online and that's a known fact
But there are alot of positives to online chatting and genuine people.

careful. I got 3 months porridge for the same comment albeit slightly reworded. Principal was the same though.
 
This site has different chats to get people to chat in them…
Kids and teens are for the kids and teens(yes people abuse that)
Dating is for people to find people to talk to, same with singles chat.
General chat to me is for just the random talks with people…
Video games chat is for the gamers(which there are so many users there that don’t talk about games I know…)
Adult chat is for the adults.
The names are basically for the categories of members.I do agree a little bit of the safety issue…
However, these days most of the kids are actually very aware about safety. Some of the teens on here are actually very intelligent believe it or not.
This place isn’t just for “lonely individuals.” Some of us actually have friendships with some of these individuals. Some people from this site have actually met in real life, some of these people have met their soulmates on this chat. This site is for a lot of different things.
Like @JayceVeron said there are a lot of positives to online chatting.

So lemme get this straight: lonely people come to chatroom that’s aim at lonely people to chat to other lonely people. Another equally lonely person, comes to the chatroom aimed at lonely people to complain about the lonely people and the fact they’re lonely in a lonely chat, only to be told by other lonely ******** that they’re also lonely and they accept them.

Or something like that. To sum up, we lonely people are so lonely.
