kids parents in my class owned the liquor store. they were closed Sundays. on Sundays he had to go with them and pull all the close dated. they'd always knock off early for a sunset cruise and left their kid in charge of finishing up. stuff he knew didn't have to go back for count he'd leave out the back door. one of us would be upfront making sure the parents were gone. the other was by the back door. he owns it now, he doesn't leave them at the back door no more and he cards, every time.
we got good at hiding that stuff. we had to hide it for almost a week until Fridays, once my brother found it and told my mom and the lie that came outta my mouth was so weak I don't even know how I got away with it. (I found it on the front lawn and put it in the shed for my dad)
