It's a volunteer job or volunteer thing, usually room admins are to blame for mods thinking they're above it all because they don't care 1 or 2 they're terrible at what they do but their the best fit for the room OR 3 the said mod or mods are their friend or have befriended the room admin so aha "as you like mod, da chat room is yer oyster". lol.

Is there a difference between chat and forums?
Wanted to put this out there to see what the response was.
I think there is. On chat. Everything you say gets forgotten in 2 minutes (unless someone brings a receipt. Which there is already a good forum thread on. ((And if I were smart enough to post it I would but I’m not, so. Go find it and

ya talkin bout the grandma's and grandpa's in the chat rooms, of all ages mind you and usually on the younger side? lol and those that screenshot every little thing thinking it'll save them or give them amo to hurt ya and reduce ya to nuttin if not today, tomorrow or next week or in 6 months time or years down the track?
forums ain't no different, you got your weirdos that either speak from both sides of the mouth or like to play their little games because they're either bored or messed up in the head - the funniest is those who act like they're "holier than thou" and then those that are so pretentious, and they all put it under the banner of "fun and games" not knowing their limits - even greater are those that attempt to back you into a corner.

Since I left the rooms and only spent time on here I have found it much more banter, although mostly its dead, you have the few regulars who are amusing and honest - something I didn't find in the rooms, everyone is out to undercut everyone and those who are given power (not aimed at anyone in particular) think they are above everyone else and its actually a real job. The mind boggles.
I will stick to the forums not that my input is much these days.
There has never been honesty in any chat room throughout the internet, least of all on this site bar the few here and there. Most are just looking for a place to waste their time and energy, aside from the adult related chat rooms, the majority there are looking for a BANG, oh yeah baby!
