Hey peeps !
how do you feel about the room just being closed?
When we were told december?

I am going to miss so many of you but I will never forget the chat !
Thank you so very much ,,even you asshats , lamers , goobers,dweebs .crazies and posers !
I have had over a decade of laughs and comfort fro all of you .
Thank you so very much :kissing::crying: ima miss you all the roomies who already left the ones left behind..waiting for the room to close..but hanging on.
also the ones like me who like forums ..lets have fun ..lol:lol:

Hey doodlez, so nice to see you again. The room closure is bittersweet to me. I had a lot of great chat for years, and met some great people like you. What memories! To me, you are an icon of the gen chat room, cant imagine it without you. But all good things must end it seems. The good news is I think the modern version is great. I wasnt sure I liked it at first, but now I really do. There are a lot of nice features, especially if you get premium membership (and no I dont get a cut for saying that lol)

I hope you will come to modern. The room wont be the same without you in it for me. If you dont, I understand, and Im glad I met you through chat I have grown quite fond of you over the years 🙂 and you make me smile!

I've had fun in the general classic room for a good 5-6 years and have met some of the best people on the planet there (I mean rating according to you humans of course not dragons) 😉
But seriously, it was a shock last night to see it just gone from ****** search and everything. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later but didn't know when.
I don't know that I will run into modern as I've not been that impressed with it in the past but we shall see. I may take the time to stop being a wannabe writer and become a real writer again (but it is more likely I will veg with Netflic).

Its been fun mostly and sometimes its been close to real. Either way I'll miss you awesome chat peeps.

Hey, Doodlez! I feel that change is bound to happen, and this isn't the first time C-A has experienced it, such as when the chatrooms went from digichat to flash chat. Now, flash is no longer being sought out. Even ****** Chrome has a message in their browser that they'll no longer be supporting Flash in the near future, which means classic chat won't even work when that time comes. Hence, C-A has transformed to meet those demands and needs in order for us to still have a chatroom to go to and enjoy.

It took me a minute, but I like modern chat now. Once you get to know some of the regs of modern version, once classic ******** invade modern, it's really more of the same only in a new, pretty package with a pink bow. More features, more fun. Personally, the room is enough for me when the right people are on and you have that moment of good, effortless conversation.

Toc I know .. I was just told it would happen in december ..had I known I would have been there more and I was just taken aback.
I love you so much you are just cool and I thank you for this.. I have gone in there and did my doodlez thing and almost could have a conversation lol and it got quiet soz..
You Know I wish I could acclimate myself to that room but I like adults better than there.

It would have been nice to wait until later in 2020 closer to when flash is actually going away but change is change.
I don't know if I can go into Modern, I can't seem to get a foot hold in there and also my name doesn't fit...how can I go to a place I have to wear new clothes for?!?!

Doodlez, no worries if you don’t like modern. I totally understand. However, it’s there if you’d like to try again in the future. I’ll still visit forums from time to time to check in on you. 😀
 
I've been using chat-avenue for as long as I remember. I remember turning 13 and getting all excited I could finally join Teen Chat. Back in the days when my favourite emoji was the :lol one.

So I'm pretty used to change. I've seen many formats come and go. I'm excited for a new era of chat but at the same time saddened to see some of the old regulars go.

I've been using modern for 2 months now and think i've settled in nicely. There are pros and cons to it, but you can't fight change. Hope to see you all around.
 
The new general chat is awful. The overuse of gifs clutter the room and the new room is so random compared to the old chat. It reminds me of the current adult chat but a few less diaper wearing adults looking for a change.
