Clean Language in the General Chat

I need to make this thread. It needs to be made. Moderators are not always in the room. I do not like my chat experience being ruined by ******** that use foul language in the chat room. This morning Penguin and Dragon were both using foul language such as swear words. A few other ******** said some degrading remarks towards me. I will start taking screen shots so the moderators can ban these people. We need to follow the rules and use clean language. It clearly says this in the rules. Mods, I hope you see this message.

the rules say excessive swearing isn't allowed. there are only a handful of words that are not to be used at all.

Hi Krystal. It sounds like you'd benefit greatly from using the ignore feature. Although excessive swearing and harassment is not allowed, using the majority of swear words absolutely is. I'd encourage you to use the ignore feature to improve your chat experience, and use the report feature for ******** who are actually breaking the rules. I'm sorry you had degrading remarks made towards you, but it is unlikely sending a moderator a screenshot of such an offence would result in a ban. Use the report feature to report any harassment you're experiencing and a moderator will address your reports when they enter the room next. Please note that you need to report the offense, not the offender. Reporting someone's profile will likely be dismissed, but reporting a message in main or PM that has a rule break will help the staff address the issue.

You’re really gonna complain about swear words like what the fucking lol.

But if they are racial slurs or homophobic words i can understand why you would be angry.

But mods just try and do their best to catch as much as possible no one is perfect. If it’s that bothering try a different room or use the block feature and ignore said people in chat.

My prediction this thread will be derailed quickly and not due to the topic and I think rapinoes response is spot on and @Samwise you might want to close this as I feel this will quickly get derailed not due to the topic but for a very painfully clear thing that will trigger trolls and heroes that speak out against trolls if you get the picture.
