I will say despite some of other postings, and on reflection, I do believe amaisey has done what she feels is best for the room, watching people who have been friendly with her for so long turn against her isn’t nice and we can do better. That said I do still think it’s a bad decision which will end in the predictable way.

But I am just a chat lurker, who deleted their chat account way back. I might register again but not right now,

Your concerns are completely 100% valid, understood and most importantly heard. GC is supposed to be an environment of entertainment and laughs. It’s a place that literally brings people together from all over the world. Yes it IS a chat room but it’s also a big family. The ******** make the room what it is, without them it would just be a random pointless space. There are rules in place which should be upheld, they are there for a reason. Things have been shaky and rocky for a bit now. When new leadership changes there’s a huge transition time that’s involved. I understand what you’re sayin and we hear it. Safety should be a priority. People should respect decisions and boundaries. We can’t lose the people that make the place worthwhile. I don’t blame anyone for wanting to leave but I really wish they’d stay. Whatever we can do on our end, there ARE people that care, that hear you, and that won’t stop fightin for what this place is supposed to be. ❤️
 
A person returning to the room and breaking like every rule there is, and not being banned, makes me feel uneasy about returning to girls chat myself
 
it allready slip up caught multiple times, its own chance ruined, kill it with fire, ban em all. None of our users willl be hurt at the end of a threat, GC stay strong, hol in there people, the room is won by regulars, these creep always end up back in the bin, fight for what you believe, don't give up, speak your mind,. your staff will always fight for what right, you may not see it, it may seem other, but we don't let the bad creeps win. Hold your ground, wave the flags high, GC forever. Shout it out loud, we will never give up, justice is always servered!

you dont have to say your gender or location even if a mod or admin asks all you need to answer is age
 
I, and others, find it very suspicious that someone will go to the trouble to create an account and not show their gender, age, location or any sort of biography. If they have nothing to hide, what's the problem revealing that information? What is their real reason for being there? It's creepy if you ask me. In order to create an account, those fields should be mandatory.

In the last week the user in question has been unable to even stick to the simplest rules created in a chance they never deserved. The inevitable happened and should hopefully be resolved to the satisfaction of most the worried people.

Safety should be be put ahead of having to put in extra work. Anyone that took this time to protect or welcome him you should all well know now where the red flags lie.
