Covid 19

Please take this seriously. It is not a democratic or republican issue. The typical COVID 19 patient does not resemble those pictures you see of folks lying in a hospital bed in isolation with oxygen flowing. Most exposed to this virus will develop symptoms typical of a common cold. I have bronchitis which developed from a respiratory infection. Is it COVID 19? Who knows with the United States test kits are not easy to come by. Also if you are not exhibiting severe symptoms you will not be tested. I am suspending my activities for the rest of this week and next week just for the safety of others. We should not panic but we should be careful. Let us work together to limit the spread of this. It is not a hoax. I still will remain active in chat and forums as it is the only way I can torture others safely.

it sure aint a joke... so much shit is closing here in australia
and even my cancer follow up appointment was cancelled
due to it being too risky. as mentioned above I agree...
please look after each other, even self isolate if need be.
working together we will help fight this deadly virus.

its terrorism

As far as I can figure, covid is listed under the same group- corona that colds and flu's are. The symptoms are runny nose, fever and cough. Just like a cold or flu but it isnt a cold or flu? 3 deaths where I live out of 5 million people, all seniors 80+ in care homes. So naturally they shut the province down View attachment 480991

590 cases, 84 fully recovered, 5 deaths, the youngest 72, in a nation of just over 25 million

Less than 1% fatality rate in Australia at this point in time.

Gasoline is dirt cheap here. I filled my car the other day and it was just over 7 dollars US. This was also using a discount card I have from my grocery which had quite a few cents off due to some earlier panic buying. Now we can work from home. They are even counting phone calls. Trump is sending me a check as well. I mean this is sucky I understand. You would think the chat rooms would have more activity since we all are forced to be at home more or less.

The whole thing got blown way out of proportion, IMO. I'm not saying that it isn't a big deal, but I just feel its a huge scare tactic the government is using against us. Everyday I see reports of this many cases or this many ppl have died on this day, but they have yet to mention the thousands of people who recovered from it and are doing fine. The media is scaring the public and its driving people to hoard food and toilet paper (which I still have yet to understand why).. People are saying "don't compare this to the flu. People are dying. It's not like the flu" but have failed to realize that the flu has killed thousands more this year then the corona has. Corona is super quick at spreading, yes i understand that, but it's nothing too different then what's been going on. Why hasn't the government done anything to this level when flu season comes around? But now that this happened, lets shut the world down, keep people away from working, send the world into recession and then pray in a few weeks this all goes away and we go back to being normal, which is not going to be the case. People will permanently lose their jobs bc of this, despite whatever the govt might say. I'm not here to start fights, I'm just stating my opinion on it all. I do, however, hope everyone here stays safe, and please just wash your hands. <3

And so the UK is now on lock down , at least there will be toilet rolls , bread , rice and pasta and let's not forget tinned foods available. Jesus christ...🙄

No rice on the shelves, well some boxed minute stuff, got the last loaf of bread. It is oatmeal 7 grain so I imagine it tastes ****ty but its bread.

Most of the vegetables here from the north are just getting rotten because of lock down. so they burying them instead of selling it.

Hey Kim Do you have pretty feet and can you wiggle you're toes as well?

I have a lot of friends who have closed their businesses and now are staying without money and also with debts. It is not the best time for all of us but I hope that soon everything will go back to normal. It is very strange time I really hope that soon everything will be okay. Now is very difficult to travel and for that you should pass covid test,

you need to realize that this kind of stuff is more common than you think
I just presently was walking in the downtown LA and every third store there was closed
And this is not some kind of small vendors, the rent there is simply unbelievable so the store needs to be profitable every month
after they are closed the time will come for the small ones and when everyone will get into the line in the unemployment centre

Well, now, with the passage of time, most of the stores have opened and continue to work, of course, the pandemic has affected most retail outlets and their earnings, but still many were able to restore their working capacity and old earnings after a while.

Im pretty sure the situation is dire everywhere
the island i live on has not taken the pandemic seriously, but i have since last march I haven't been anywhere other than work and shops. Unfortunately the lockdown showed that some animals are more equal than others and the focus was on how to bend the rules. Unfortunately as well I caught corona from a person I sat too close too to help them in their job and cried away when I saw my wage slip. During this continuous pandemic I felt more and more that people are less helpful less engaging and too many times i felt like giving up. Its a mad mad world
