Hello,

I have been pondering this for a while.

How can an Admin say "oh you have a complaint? shut it down and send it all to my inbox"

this breeds corruption!!

If an admin cant take a moment to check forums and handle business, find someone that can.

by allowing admins to just say all of my threads can be insta-closed and sent to my inbox it allows them to do literally anything they want and its completely unnecessary as well.
 
It’s not a position I particularly like either, but insisting the opposite, that every issue should be addressed and resolved in public, would create spectacle where there really shouldn’t be any.

Ultimately, some things should be resolved privately. I take an even more measured stance when threads that simply detail (constructive) criticism are instantly closed. (Those threads seem to be closed because they don’t pertain to specific kicks or bans or compliments; it’s strange to me we have a place to voice accolades but cannot equally discuss our displeasure.)

The room Admins have different ways of handling those. We make the assumption that the fine staff around site deal with the issues in PM like they request.

(Those threads seem to be closed because they don’t pertain to specific kicks or bans or compliments; it’s strange to me we have a place to voice accolades but cannot equally discuss our displeasure.)

Well if they can do anything they want, you can also screenshot and post it public as proof.

Modern problems….
 
I'm not here to fight anyone. I just don't see how Lex(admin of dating chat) can simply have all of her complaints shut down and sent directly to her. Not only does this breed corruption but is a clear conflict of interest.
 
The purpose of this is to handle it, not to create drama. If they want to handle it in private it’s their choice and honestly the best policy. If you were at work and your manager wanted to tell you that you’re a horrible worker in front of everyone would that be very professional? No, it wouldn’t.

Even though I do like to talk sheit on forums though, some prefer to stay professional… I however do not. Closed bc it’s off topic and irrelevant.
