As if that wasnā€™t amazing-to-me enough, after a few conversations, ā€œinterrogationsā€, and laughs, @Absolut Bitch decided to once again join the Singles Mod Team, and I genuinely couldnā€™t have been more humbled by it.

I knew in that moment we were going to be unstoppable.

To my ā€œFantastic Fourā€ -

You all are the type of Mods that us Admins literally dream of having. You all show up daily, you work hard, youā€™re all utterly hilarious, have the best personalities, and are incredible humans and teammates.

Thank you for investing hours upon hours of time with me into the room and itā€™s chatters. I get a bunch of praise for the turnaround in that room, and I know Iā€™ve said it before but I really want everyone to understand, the turnaround isnā€™t because of me.. itā€™s because of you all. Iā€™m only one person, and that room needed one heck of a village; you four.

Iā€™ll never be able to thank you all enough for the support youā€™ve given me and the room or for believing in me, especially in the beginning, when I was unsure of whether or not I even believed in myself.

You four are absolute powerhouses.

Thank you for making my time as your Admin in Singles Chat something that I will never forget and forever hold dear to my heart.

In general, I try not to suck up or kiss @SS to mods/admins because I don't want to be "that guy" trying to get preferential treatment...

BUT since only one or two people know who I am on this forums account, I'll make an exception so I can articulate how I (and many others) feel, given the circumstances šŸ¤£

Leigh, I don't know how you've done it, but you have. Singles Chat has been a dumpster fire for years now. Trolls were out of control, we had some "less-than-stellar" mods at one time, etc. And to be fair, this is no attack on Dylan- I was vocal about my opposition to him at one time, but by the time he left, I came to understand that he had good intentions, but the bad parts of chat were just more than anyone- or so I thought- could tame. From day one, you've managed chat amazingly, from being humble enough to make yourself open and available to any chatter who had an issue to being tough in dealing with the worst offenders. You (and your mods) have created a team that feels like family (it's even obvious to me, as someone who isn't a mod). There seems to be a synchrony between yourself and all the mods instead of multiple mods with their own individual agendas that we've had at different points prior to you. Your current team is the best mod team I've seen here in years- if ever-, and to think you've done this all in less than a year's time is nothing short of a miracle. I understand managing General, Singles, and Music is a tough workload, and if you decide to pass the torch on to someone else in Singles (my vote is for one of the current mods), I do hope you'll still visit us. It's difficult for an admin to manage to be both loved AND effective at their job, but you've been doing that since day one. Congratulations on your new role as admin of General! We all know you'll do amazing things there as well. Thank you, Leigh šŸ‘
