Church is a hospital for sinners. Your soul needs to hear God's Word among believers.

Remember: church isn't a building, it's a gathering.
 
If you have faith, belonging to a church is not at all necessary- in my opinion. Matthew 18:20 sates:

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

This could be in your own home, or anywhere else. Belonging or attending to a church does not dictate what you believe, or your ability to worship God. You can hear or read God's word anywhere you choose.

I'm not saying that at all! I very much do that- but that can be done anywhere- whether it be in a church, or at your own home. I can read the bible and integrate that into my life from my living room.

Absolutely! Doesn't matter where she played it. I played for church myself- as I've played piano my whole life. I'm just saying I don't believe the building itself, or the organization dictates how good of a christian you are, or how strong your faith is. 🙂

Do not get it twisted, if you truly have the Holy Spirit, you would be prompted to sing in worship and read the Bible with other live believers.

I can’t watch preachers on Facebook. They piss me off—especially the Pentecostal preachers who do all of that heavy breathing into the microphone after every sentence.

I grew up going to Pentecostal and Baptist churches.
 
Okay, this poll is more like it. Church and being American goes hand-in-hand.

Everyone knows about falling asleep in church.
 
i voted "no", but thinking of it, i do visit cathedrals. Obviously, not in a religious setting, but rather to just be amazed by them. They are beautiful expressions of art just as much as they are an expression of religion. And it just floors me that they worked on those buildings for _generations_.
 
Yes.I love church and always have. I attend it, and I donate to the Catholic church... even though... I believe in the"Devil" I have a liking toward the Catholic church .I still walk inside of it and that's a peaceful place for me anywhere quiet is good for me

If you noticed alot of these mods, and admins call themselves so called "christians"they express their religious faith even on threads I've seen and they talk about their religion but to be a Christian one has to have repented and did something truly terrible if you converted into Christianity one has to live in regret to even turn christian in the first place, christians are very full of **** and supposedly these people they go and say they believe in god so much and read the Bible, but they are very fucking evil on the inside and out it's hypocritical in my eyes how they can believe in God but do terrible things to others how can one even be such a believer of the lord when they do crimes against people and do crimes in general online that are vile af and really evil people who are corrupted.

I would never comprehend that honestly.



That's another reason I believe in the "Devil" they do exist.!

I don't go to Church, you wont find Jesus in the church anymore its infested by demons named Candy, Bourbon and Celeste plus people like you worshipping them.

We cant have one place that's holy and pure, because of M'lady people. Church is the new Craig's list

If you start going to church, people might as well turn it into a night club with a red district attachment. You not going to church is the only thing keeping it still somewhat respectable from afar if you squint and pinch your nose
