howdy friends, 🙋🏼‍♀️

i hope everyone is well on this beautiful thursday evening, bc general chat sure isn't doing too well;

as general chat grows, so does the number of pedophiles, crackheads, lunatics, fanatics, & racial zealots...

the mods??? a wonderful bunch, constantly battling to keep the chat safe / clean; & the admin??? has to always balance between administrating the chat / chairing the politburo of soviet-avenue forums 🤐

while the admin isn't present, the mods can only do so much; they can only mute for so long, kick for so long, they can put in ban requests but being a volunteer the admin only has so much time to respond to them... so maybe, perhaps, possibly to help pick up some of that slack general chat gets a new admin / second admin 🍜

but who should it be???

in the present poll, i has created a list of possible candidates who would make a good secondary admin to help clean the chat up...

i think wat would best serve the chat as a good secondary admin, would be someone with no actual experience being a mod let alone experience being an admin...

someone who hasn't developed a long standing biased towards what they has long known what admining & modding is expected to be becoming out of tune with the users that theyre supposed to be ensuring their internet space is safe & clean...

sometimes more the more professional (say that lightly, we're talking a chat-room here l0l) that opens up the possibility of more restrictions, & sterner approach the position which often leads to conflict...

& thats why i has selected myself, sweet_ums, luka, & amandalorian (despite being a former mod, but she was someone who came from no experience) we are all ppl who are in touch with the *community* that actively seek to not only improve it, but make the *community* more engaging be it on the chat itself or on the accompanying forums 🥰

We all know the very answer to this suggestion -- and it isnt going to be @babydolla sharing admin duties -- the control is real.

I don't think it's gonna happen .. I think the staff is sufficient at the moment and whether they are effective or meet the requirements is not for us to say or decide. It's totally the owners decision.

It might be considered however if the room has a significant increase of chat ters.
