question: do you remember the days when the next post after yours was always someone whining that you hax0red their computer to get their ip address?! then like 8 green mods had to come in behind them and say no only you can see whats in the box. and still half never understood.

i havent changed my signature since the death of musical signatures.
 
Lol of course i remember that...to be fair...i could be logging all the ip addresses that view the signature...just not able to actually associate it to specific people directly...without context clues...even then...what am i gonna do with an ip address? hax you? not likely
 
some gamer off xbox got pissed purp jr beat him at COD and threatened to cut his internet. like an hr later same guy got back on the game and said our internet must be fort knox. dood was still pissed.
 
I mean, sure you can do things do the person...but ugh...more effort than it's worth...i guess i mostly don't care to do anything even if i knew

It’s not against the rules to have multiple accounts in the rooms, though, right? There are plenty of users who have them.

Pretty difficult to link an external IP to a specific machine anyway. I'm one of many users with the same IP as my ISP uses CGNAT.

It's fine in my room as long as gender and ages match and you're only using one of them at a time.

In that case the seriously outdated rules linked in this thread should be removed and/or updated to state the fact people can have X amount of chat accounts and one registered forum account, which IS stated and in the rules. Yes of course this is room dependant because as a former admin myself I know for a fact my team used different accounts for a variety of reasons, one being the one you stated and the other being to staff the room.

Ofc nothing I say will be listened to even by the current UMs/CM or anyone else. We should all just sit back and watch this place go from shit to the lavy pan to the sewage treatment facility and still come out honkin of shit.

I think OP is talking about forums accounts. In regards to your question, itès room specific but many rooms allow users to have more than one. Here is the rule in General Chat though: ► Do not double, triple, quadruple etc. log. If you have more than one account-those must follow room rules or they will be removed ( ie Banned)
