"Hahahaha, this is soooo hilari- WHOA!" I said, jumping up fast from where I was sitting dodging attacks. A huge Boa constricter slithered at my feet. I jumped back and scrambled up a few feet. rookie 8 made more Dark, and I stole it, conforming it into an electric ball and threw it at the snake. The snake was blown into the air, and landed not a foot next to Keikoa's feet.

"Watch it!" I yelled, running off the seat. Okay, it was a reptile, which equals coldblooded. Dark cannot control temperatrue, and besides, the snake's scales deflect my Dark...

"Jack! Fire!"

~Changer made a clicking noise with her tongue, and the snake moved rapidly toward her and up her leg to her arm. She walked toward the one who attacked her snake~ "Now, now don't you think animal violence is kind of cruel. You scared my Sala." Changer said kissing the snake's head. ~Sala launched at Kiari's face, missing by a few inches.~ "Consider that a fair warning." Changer said walking toward Hariet who was on the ground. "Looks like you've got you hands full... Oh wait you can't use your hands." Changer laughed loudly. "you just wait until i get free from this." Hariet snapped angered. "pfft.. you remember whos the right hand man on this project,and there won't be any confrontations between us. I mean you wouldn't want that would you." Sala slithered down Changer's arm toward Hariet's face. ~Sala's tongue touched Hariet's face, and Hariet flinched a bit~ "Don't worry your not worth my time. If i killed you it would be like killing a new born child. Have you ever heard of the Lion and the mouse. Well the mouse pulled a thorn from Lion's foot, and the Lion didn't eat it. Now i'm the lion your the mouse, and Keikoa and Jack is the thorn in my foot. Get rid of them or I will eat you." Changer said amused by her story. ~Changer rushed toward Keikoa pushing her making her fall hitting the ground hard.~ "There that should give you some help"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Keikoa rolled over wondering if she had the strength to get up. She pushed off the ground ,and felt a tremendous pressure on her legs, but she ignored it. Keikoa put her hands up as if she was about to fist fight. Hariet stood up red in the face from whatever the girl in red told her. "She must have some great power i couldn't even see her. And she made Hariet be quiet and thats a first." Hariet ran at Keikoa full speed, and started to throw blows with water in her hands. Keikoa blocked them losing her balance from her injured legs but she endured through them. She upper cutted Hariet with a strike of water making her fly a few feet in the air. Keikoa backed up and kicked her legs up so it could at least get used to it. "I need a healer." she thought to herself.~ "Whos a healer" Keikoa yelled preparing herself for the fight that Hariet was going to bring.
((Thank goodness we're back to normal 🙄 Welcome back Popity 🙂 ))
Seeker serveyed her situation and came to a definite conclusion. Eight rookies plus Eve agains the 4 of them. Not good, especially with Kiari's powers gone and Keikoa injured. So that leaves Jack and Seeker.
Suddenly, the necklace around Seeker's neck grew bright red. A warm glow started to radiate from its core, and Seeker had no idea what was happening. Then, a tidal wave formed in her mind. The force of it was so powerful, it knocked the breath out of her.
"Oh my god!" Said an unknown voice nearby. Seeker lifted up her head, and to her amazement, several of the rookies were making gagging noises, as if they were drowning! But that's not possible. No one had powers strong enough to do that. Unless...
A bright flash-back formed in Seeker's mind as a conversation long forgotten was brought to life...
"You are powerful, Seeker. It is in your blood. There will come a day when you will require every bit of strength in order to defeat a great evil. This necklace will help you." A grey-haired woman unclapsed the chain and secured the necklace around a 5-year-old Seeker's neck. The stone felt cool on her baby soft skin as a squeaky voice asked,
"But what does it do grandmama?"
The lady smiled gently, revealing a set of pearly white teeth, and said, "It will help you do something no one has ever done before - except me of course." A slight giggle escaped from the woman's mouth and for a split-second, a twinkle registered in her cobalt-blue eyes.
"The bearer of this necklace has the power of extension. What it means is that you will be able send matter across, from your mind, to someone elses. All of this might be confusing, so here's an example.
"As a telepathic, you can send across your thoughts. But, if you first conjure up an image, of say water, then you will be able to send that across too. Now, of course, all of this is just a matter within the mind. With enough control, you can make people think that they are actually drowning. Likewise, you can make them think they're burning in fires of hell, etcetera.
"This is all in the mind Seeker. And once you've mastered the technique, then you can cause some real damage to your opponents."
The image faded. Seeker finally understood what happened. Somehow, without being aware of it, she did what her grandmama described. She drowned the rookies, using telepathy!
((sry if this seems far-fetched, but that's the only way I can think of defeating 8 ppl))
((Edit: I did not kill all 8...only a couple...being 2 or 3 rookies.))
The snake's head left my face. The girl moved away towards Hariet.
"Pfft, Yeah, well, I bite back." I mutered under my breath.
Suddenly Hariet charged at Keikoa and knocked her off her feet. I started to run to help her up, but she got up on her own. I smiled and thought at this rate in her endurance, her strength might be gone but she has enough determination to keep going to the end.
I began trying to figure out a way to knock the rookies out of our way so we could fight the bigger threats. I looked around, when I noticed Seeker's necklace emitting a strange glow. I pulled from beneath my my shirt my own necklace, and looked at the ornate locket, and the key I had strung on to my box. Both looked normal, and I had yet to figure out why dad had left me the locket to begin with. I shrugged and tucked them back under my shirt, glancing at Seeker's necklace again. I walked over to her, hardly worrying about the crossfire, which was very dodgable.
"Do you mind explaining why that thing is doing that?" I asked her, absorbing the darkess Rookie 8 was shooting at Rookie 3 by accident. I shot it at Hariet, wrapping it around her with my mind. The result: A long, black cord of Dark wrapped over and around her body. I shot and did the same to Rookie 6. He wobbled a bit, then fell.
((Edit: I haven't figured out that a few of the rookies are now laying on the ground, mouths open as if filled with immaginary liquid 😉 ))
(Can you guys hold up so I can post tomoroww please? I got a good idea but I just don't have the time to write it right now...please.....If not then go ahead...I'll have the time tomoroww after school.)
((yeah, same for me. I have to go to school too. Sooo...until like, 4:00 tomorrow Eastern Standard, I cannot post unless I miraculously break into the computer lab, which I've tried, succeeded, and got caught :lol: ))
"No no no!!" Changer yelled at the sight that all of the people on her side were being picked off one by one. ~Changer looked toward the one name Seeker, and grinned. "Great power in that one." Changer thought to herself. Inside she knew that there was a chance that she might die, because the odds were against her and there was no way she was able to pull this off. She just hoped Eve finished her plan so she could get a piece of something. Keikoa and Jack had to much heart for her likings, and she wanted them dead no matter what it would take. Changer stepped back from the scene nobody noticed her, because she chose to stay out of their affairs. Now that her small, and defeatable army was almost gone she had to interfer. Sala wrapped around Changer's arm hissing at the sight of people dying, or the look of it.~ "Sala its ok, we will soon see one of them perish. Because an eye for an eye..." Changer started and the snake hissed. "Exactly" Changer said. ~She laughed a laugh that came from deep inside of her as if she just heard a very very funny joke. Sala still wrapped around her arm, started to go down her leg and was now right beside her. Changer put out both of her arms out and four very large demon snakes came from her arms. Changer made a noise as if she was in great pain, but a smirk remained on her face. The snakes were sluggish coming out of her arms, but once they brought from Changer's skin they stood by her side waiting for the command. Changer lifted up her shirt, and reveiled a tattoo on her stomach, with a red demon snake with icy blue eyes. The snake stretched Changer's skin, and was quicker to break from the skin than the others. One final snake come from Changer's neck, and she panted from all six snakes.~ "Now one for Seeker, one for Kiari, two for Jack, and two for Keikoa. If this doesn't kill those two then i don't know what can. Nobody has ever defeated two of my demon snakes at the same time. And as for the other two if they get out of this then i will have to handle them myself." Sala returned to Changer's arm and hissed once more.
Why thank you. But why do you need me so badly to keep a thread interesting? Ok, other than the fact that I'm the main story line at the moment. But that's not the point. :hmm: Or is it? :dontknow: Ignore me, I'm just abit hypa at the moment. Too much energy drinks, not enough energy out. :clap
(Ummm...thanks for holding off...)
- Jack looked at the two snakes. He backed away. He had alot of ice from rookie 3 because he was intelligentt enough to bring his own water and Jack just kept stealing it. Jack threw a very sharp ice sicle at the snake on his left. The snake dodged it easily. Then Jack had an idea.-
-Jack lifted up into the air, he could fly and they couldn't! Jack was 15 feet in the air when he threw another, bigger ice sicle at the snake. The snake's head dodged it but the ice sicle shattered when it reached the middle of the snake. Or atleast, most of it shattered. About a 6 inch piece of ice was stuck in the snake and blood was pouring from the wound. Jack wasn't paying attention and he lowered himself several feet and it cost him. He suddenly felt a sharp pain through his left leg. . The Snake had risen up to Jack and grabbed him with it's teeth. The teeth of the snake went through Jack's leg but not the bone. Then the snake jerked down and Jack went down with it, not concentrating on flying at the moment.-
-Jack yelled with pain because of the force that he had been thrown. Then Jack was mad. His only intention was to kill the two snakes.-
-He rose into the air again and then threw a very large ice sicle about 6 feet long and half a foot wide at the top. That was all the ice that he had. The ice sicle shattered in the air and became tiny ice sicles about 1 inch and very sharp. The ice sicles rained down on the two snakes. The ice sicles tore through their skin because Jack was alot more far up then he was the last time and he had thrown it alot harder. The two snakes dropped both at the same time. Both of them dead.-
(It's all I can think of on how to kill a demon snake with Ice....)
"Oh, this is just great. Just GREAT!" I yelled at the girl who made the snakes. How the heck do you kill a snake with borrowed powers?! You don't, that's how. Okay, how do you kill a snake with your bare hands? Die trying? Great.
The large acid-green snake circled my legs. It layed very still, and I could see it was about to strike. Suddenly it's head lunged at me, and with Rookie 8's dark, I blocked it by making a sheild. The same thing repeated over and over. The snake's tongue flitted in and out of it's mouth. Once again it lunged, and I raised my arm to make a shield. I saw the snake's fangs sink deep into my forearm before I felt the pain. I ripped it off with my other hand crying out in pain. I turned my head just in time to see Rookie 8 fall from exhaustion of his powers. He was knocked cold. That's why I couldn't use his powers to make a shield.
I kicked the snake as far from me as I could, then crouched down and huddled against a tree, out of the cross-fire still going on. I looked at my arm, tricklets of blood falling from the two puncture wounds. I could see the skin around them getting an increasing blue color.
"Their poisonous?!" I cried out.
I ripped off some denim from the bottom of my jeans, and wrapped it around my arm, pulling it into a tight knot with my teeth. It was my right arm. Luckily, I was left-handed.
I walked over to where Chancer had her back turned and was looking at something on the roof of the school. I forced her to turn around, then drove my fist into her nose. I couldn't fight with elements, but I had other means.
((Okay, I'm going to make another character, just to twist things up a bit. But since it'd be slightly unfair with yet another person on our side, he can die sooner or later, just to keep things going. Popity, Keikoa, you guys decide his death and junk.))
Name: Seth
Age: 16
Element: Fire
Power: Healing
Seth was in his room doing homework, when he heard a shout then a cry from outside his window on the first floor. He stood up and walked over to it, and saw several people in the arena fighting havoc against eachother. He swung a leg over the sill, then the other jumping into the bushes. He ran down to the top of the stadium and stopped. he could see several people, but only recognized one, the girl who had attacked him at the begining of the year with her Darkness when he had followed her to see who she was.
He took the bleachers three at a time, and quickly got to the bottom. He saw Kiari drive her fist into another girl's face. Then he noticed her other arm hanging limp. With a closer look, he noticed the two puncture wounds. He concentrated, and tried to heal from a long distance. Since he hadn't yet mastered his healing, it was a very trivial process, but he could see she noticed. She looked up at him in surprise, then smiled. Then she got an angry look on her face and turned back to the girl with blood spurting from her nose.
He figured he'd go on Kiari's side, and quickly saw who was against whom. He saw a guy hovering in the air, blood staining his jeans. He concentrated again, and also was able to heal his wounds quite a bit. Then he ran over to the girl unsteady on her feet. (Keikoa, that's you)
"Are you all right? Can I help you in any way?" he asked, concern in his eyes for the girl.
~Keikoa looked behind her with a horrid look on her face. Two very large snakes were in back of her and Hariet in front. Either she killed Hariet which she rather not do because she wasn't a killer, or she fought the snakes which would give Hariet a clean shot at her which could could kill her. Keikoa wanted to run but her legs would permit her to do it. All she could do is stand and fight. A guy ran up to her~
"Are you alright? Can I help you in any way?" The boy asked.
~Keikoa frowned with the two snakes, and Hariet started to run toward both of them. She ran her hands quickly over her whole body and made a water sheild around her. Sweat dripped from her forehead.~ "Thank you for the concern, but you have to get out of here. I can barely fend for myself let alone protect you. Plus i'm not very strong right now so on the count of three i want you to run as fast as you can. Got it?" Keikoa asked. ~She waited for his response.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~Changer stumbled back from the blow to her face. She touched her nose, and looked at her fingers red with blood. She grinned. "This is more like it full contact." Changer said to herself loudly. She took her hand and wiped her nose and licked the blood from the top of her hand. Sala hissed loudly preparing to attack the girl. Changer held Sala by the middle of her body and put her around her neck. She made a clicking sound with her tongue warning Sala to be careful because the girl was strong, and she could kill her.~ "bad mistake missy" Changer said. ~Changer put one foot in back of her other, and brought up her hands. She was experienced with fighting technique and she used her speed as an advantage. Even though she enjoyed risks that could possibly kill her she always trained herself, so she wouldn't slip up and actually die from lack of experiece. Changer clasped her hands together as if she were praying, and put laced her fingers with each other expect for her index fingers. She looked up and smiled. Changer knew the girl would recognize this technique because she knew that Kiari could fight from past research.~
(I don't know just going along with the flow)

The snake Changer made came straight at Seeker, but luckily, she dodged the attack. Under normal circumstances, killing the snake wouldn't be a problem at all. But due to the fact that Seeker had used up a lot of her energy earlier on, she was now weak, and her powers need time to strengthen. So, the only way for her to defeat the snake now is to use her mind.

((ok...have to go now...I'll post the rest tomorrow))

"I don't need you to protect me." Said Seth, very offended (oo, just like guys do, eh?). "I can take care of myself. I can heal you." He said to her, noticing her strength waning. He concentrated all of his mind on her body, not even allowing his senses to penetrate. He knew this was the real deal. He concentrated so hard, his head began to throb and his nose started to bleed. He wiped his nose with the back of his hand, and looked at the girl wondering how well it worked.

I looked at her in disgust as she licked her own blood off her fingers. But then what really took me off guard was when she did her battle stanses. I hadn't even thought of the slight chance she knew the techniques as I did. I quickly gathered my mind to gether, and did the reacting stanse: One arm horizontal in the air, in defense, the other behind ready to attack. I knew her pride would keep her fighting fairly, without her elements. Unless so happened in desperation she needed them, which I hoped even still she wouldn't.

"Your move." I said, smirking at her.

~Keikoa slowly started to feel herself being re energized. Her powers coming back to their full strength. She grinned as she left the barrier down. Before the duel Keikoa had studied to be prepared for a fight with Hariet and now was her chance to prove her powers to the fullest. She whipped Seth back, so he wouldn't get hurt or on in the way. And she mumbled a thank you. Hariet was containing water that she need, she pushed her hands back, and Hariet stumbled a fell. She took control of the water, and formed it in front of her. The two snakes rammed the water, as they did this Keikoa wrapped their heads in it. Both of the snake's tails flopped on the ground from lack of oxygen, and made th ground shake. She waited until they stopped moving. Hariet was on the ground~ "I'll give you three seconds to run, I don't want to kill you. But obviously you want to kill me so i'm just defending myself don't you think so..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Changer smiled, and lost some of her focus when she remember her training. Her teacher used to scold her when she lost of battle with him because he knew she could beat him but she rushed and didn't know how to control her anger. Ever since Changer was a child she had anger issues. The one day she actually listened, she defeated her master and that day she mastered her technique. Which was unique in its on but it was sleak, and light. Like balerina on her tip toes. Changer smiled, not an evil smile nor an happy smile. It was a smile that a child gets when they have accomplished something on their on. She came back to reality, and lowered her prayer-like hands parallel to her stomach. This would help her move with quickness to block Kiari's attacks.~ "No, no i insist you first." Changer said smiling. ~Sala dropped from her shoulder's onto the ground watching Kiari catiously. Sala may have been a snake but she was smart, and fast. Changer waited...~
For a second, I felt light and weird, my heart's pace quickened and slowed and my legs felt like jelly. I looked down and saw my body going invisible, then fading back to sight. I looked around and couldn't see the source. Suddenly it stopped. I looked back up at Changer as if nothing had happened.
"Not with that snake around. If I happened to win, your snake would finish me off." I smiled and grabbed a stick. I thrust it in the ground right in fron of the snake's head. That scared it and made it flich. At this moment, I kicked the snake as far away from me as I possibly could.
"Only fair." I grinned, hoping I had made her mad enough to suit my liking. The angrier you are, the more hasty you become.
.0o_____________________-~-~-~-~- ______________________o0.
Seth stumbled back and slammed against the stadium bleachers. He hoped he had helped.
(Well, someone kill him or something XD we're done with him now, don't you think?)
Seeker was struggling, no doubt about it. With the sun at the apex and the temperature reaching three digits, it was definitely getting harder to concertrate. She tried to see how the others are faring, but couldn't exactly make out anything. All she could see was an array of colours and she felt her visions blurr. She shook her head quickly to clear her thoughts and brought her mind back to her current opponent.
The snake was about 5 yards away from where she stood. It had its head raised, while its forked tongue made various hissing noises. Seeker bent down slowly, and picked up a stone. With a quick reflex of her arm, she threw it to the side, hoping the snake would be distracted by the noise. It worked, and for a split second, the snake turned its head and looked towards the origin of that sound. That gave Seeker the advantage, so she grabbed a stick on the ground and made a direct hit. It connected with with the nape of the snake, and she held it down firmly while waiting for it to cease its struggle. A couple of seconds later, the snake stopped moving and gave out.
Seeker stood up gradually, but before she could do anything else, a sudden blackness came upon her. The last thing she could remember was falling and the sound of her body hitting the sandy ground.
~Hariet got up and got into a fighting stance. Keikoa frowned not wanting to fight. She spread her legs apart to keep herself balanced~
(Sorry i'll right now tommorow)
Seeker felt herself rising and rising, above the ground, above everyone else. She thought she was in a dream, where everything is just a halucination, but something tells her it's not. She opened her eyes and looked around her. There was Keikoa, still squaring off against Hariet. Then there's Jack, and Kairi, and the snakes. However, it was something lying motionless on the ground that really caught her attention. Seeker focused her eyes on the body, and the realisation of that it was, took her breath away. There, with legs sprawled on the hard, sandy ground, was her! She couldn't believe it. How could this be? She's right here! But there was no mistake that that person was also her.
Seeker lifted her arm up, and what she saw, wasn't the usualy solid of her hand, but rather, a transparent version of herself. She closed her eyes for a couple of seconds, hoping that none of this was real, and reopened them. Still, nothing's changed. What the hell is happening to me? Thought Seeker. I'm not dead. I can't be dead. I can't.
(( M'kay. Ima just like, make a new character. I can't be bothered to go through all 60 odd pages. ))
Full Name: Aria Alida Delmar
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Element Controlled: Darkness
SpecialAbilityYouWishToBeTrainedIn: Telekenisis
Appearance:
ChainTwister.jpg
Aria watched from the shadows as Seeker hit the ground. She felt something unusual coming from the girl's body. Blinking her eyes a few times, she noticed a transparent version of the woman. Aria flickered her attention to Jack, Kiari, and Keiko. She wondered if they had realized what was happening to Seeker. Without hesitation, she gave a flick of her wrist, a large dagger of some sort appearing in her hand, the chains of the weapon skidded along the ground.
Stepping out from the shadows slowly, Aria twirled her weapon around in her head. Her body twisting to the right some, she lanched the tip of the blade towards the head of one of the snakes. The blade shot right through it's head, slicing it clean off it's body. She yanked upon the chain attached to her weapon, pulling it back to her. Aria took a step over to Seeker's body, kneeling down before the girl as she checked her heart beat. She was still alive but her pulse was slowing down rather quickly.
"Oi'. She's going to die if you don't get her out of here and to a hospital." She shouted over at Jack and Kiari, seeing as how Keiko was busy with Hariet. Planting her hand firmly on the ground, she muttered an incantation. Shotting out from the palm of her hand and along the ground was a black shadow, it forming up underneath the snakes that were around then. She stood to her feet, her hand leaving the ground along with the shadow and the snakes, leaving a rather large opening around her and Seeker.
~Changer looked over at a unusual girl that had never caught her attention, she frowned. "I don't need another one of these goody two shoes on their side helping them" Changer focused back on Kiari who hasn't made a move yet. Changer looked at Sala as if they were planning something. Changer ran which wasn't her style but she had save her snakes. Changer racing toward the girl, then stopped suddenly. Changer hissed at the massive hole in the ground.~
~Keikoa turned at a new girl, who was talking about Seeker. "Is she going to die" Keikoa wanted to say but was hit hard by Hariet, and she was laying on the ground before she knew it. She couldn't move at all. Keikoa saw water surrounding her so she quickly took a deep breath~
Aria looked over at Keiko and Hariet, watching as Keiko hit the ground hard. She shook her head, skidding across the ground and over to where Keiko was, grabbing her and pulling her from the water. She flipped back, placing Keiko down beside Seeker. After doing so, she flickered her attention to Hariet, twisting the chain of her blade above her head before shotting it over just above Hariet's ankles. She pulled the chain back, taking her blade in hand as she watched Hariet fall to the floor with a loud thud.
She looked back to Keiko and Seeker. "If someone doesn't help her, she will die." Aria, noticing Hariet struggle back up to her feet, planted her hand down on the ground, a black shadow forming around herself, Keiko, and Hariet, forming some what of a darkness barrier. "That should give us some time to get something planned before she dies." She looked to Keiko, her dark purple optics blinking a few times, though Keiko couldn't see it from the bandages over her eyes. "Any ideas?"
Seeker watched in stunned amazement as the events unfolded below her. 'OK. Deep breaths Seeker. Keep calm. Everything's going to be fine.' She repeated those words to herself, trying in vain to calm the nerves that are building up deep within her soul. She opened her eyes once more, and discovered that she could at least control her body parts, meaning she could tell her body to flow in wherever direction she wants.
Just then, a thought crossed her mind. Just because she's a ghost now, doesn't mean she can't be helpful towards her friends. Maybe she can still do some damage. And with that, Seeker charged full force at the girl called Changer, who had her back towards Seeker. But instead of smacking into a solid body of mass, Seeker found herself passing through Changer's body! For a moment, she couldn't register her whereabouts, but after a few seconds of contemplating her current position, Seeker discovered that she was not only in Changer's body, but in her mind as well!
"What the hell are you doing here?" A rather angry and perplexed voice shouted.
"Huh?" Wondered Seeker. "Who's talking to me?"
"I'm Changer, and I asked you what the hell you're doing in my body!"
Seeker thought for a moment, and said, "Honestly? I have no idea."
((mmkay, so this post will make since to Takara, I have seemingly lost my powers, if you want to know how, I could easily find the page it all happened on, but they are/were Darkenss and invisibility. I found I could control Dark, if someone else made it for me. i.e. Rookie 8 (now disposed f in the fight) had darkness, and when he made it I would steal it and use it, but I can't make it myself.))
"I'll go." I said, biting my tongue. "I'm quite useless anyways." I spat out the words disgustedly. "I can't carry them both though. Aria, make Darkness, enough to cover them both, I can handle it from there."
I saw the snake I had thrown earlier coming back. I grunted. "Jack, do you mind freezing it? A minute should kill it in ice, being coldblooded and all."I hated not having my powers.
~Keikoa struggled under ther pressure of the water trying to find a center so she could break free, but oddly there was none. It was if Hariet had complete and udder control over her and her powers. The ground under her shook violently, and a new found fear was put into her. The others were preoccupied with their own fights so she had to do this own her own. Keikoa tried to move her hands but it wasn't moving. "This is a mind thing, remember back... back to when you read that book about controling water..... you can move it with your mind. Just concentrate." Keikoa thought to herself. She was losing air and time, and she felt her consciousness slipping. The ground from under her cracked, and pressure began to pile on. She was trying to force her under ground! This was a sneaky trick for Hariet and obviously she was wiating for the perfect moment. Keikoa closed her eyes, and concentrated cause her to lose air faster because she wanted to breath. The water pressure began to lift, and the look on Hariet's face was a scared one. Once again she was in a dream like state like she was before when Hariet had done it. "I mastered it!!! This is what Hariet did." Keikoa thought. Her dream like self walked over to Hariet grabbing her arm. It was as if Hariet was pulled into the same state in which she was in. Keikoa moved her hand upward in a swift motion, toward Hariets nose. Once it connected, Hariet's eyes rolled back and dropped to the ground. Then all of a sudden she was pulled back to her body, and she layed there breathless. Keikoa's chest moved up and down, as she caught her breath. Keikoa rose slowly, and looked at the lifeless body of Hariet. For some reason this was shock, she pulled her knees to her, and started to cry~
~Changer, squinted and was angered by Seeker being inside of her. She whistled loudly, and Sala came fast.~ "Seems as if we have an intruder. Get her out sister please!!" Changer yelled dropping to her knees. ~A sharp pain in the pit of her stomach began to move upward. Changer ripped her shirt showing her abdomin, and Sala forced herself into Changer's stomach. Blood trickled down Changer's abs, and stained her pants. Blood came from her eyes, as she tried to keep herself up right. The sharp pain began to go away slowly, and she felt that Sala was getting Seeker out of her, and putting an end to this pain.~
Seeker could feel herself getting weaker and weaker. She's slowly, but surely losing control. Her mind's beginning to sway and her eyes are beginning to lose their focus. A sudden sharp pain jolted through her like a strike of lightning, and she cried out.
"What is happening to me?" That's when she lost total consciousness.
-Jack immediately used the water from the ground to freeze the snake. It wasn't hard because the snake didn't put up much of a struggle. Jack pinned it then froze it completely. After about 25 seconds then snake's eye went blank and it was dead.-
-Jack ran over to Seeker's body and knelt down. He pressed two fingers to her wrist. He couldn't feel anything. He then tried to listen for a heartbeat but once again, there was nothing there.-
"No!" Jack whispered.
"You can't be dead! No one was suppose to die!" Jack whispered again.
-Jack picked her up and put her in the shade of a tree that was near from where she once was. Her body lay straight. He looked around for any threats. He only saw everybody standing still. Like frozen in time.-
Aria watched Jack move Seeker off to a tree. She shook her head, flipping up to her feet. The shadowed barrier that had once surrounded her, Keiko, and Seeker disappeared. She stepped over to Jack, placing her hand on his shoulder as she gazed down at him. "You need to get her out of here and now. If you don't she'll end up dying and we can't have that."
She watched him intently, her purple eyes fixated on his, speaking once more. "We'll be fine. Now, get her out of here before anything worse happens." With that said, Aria pulled her hand from his shoulder and moved back to Keiko and Kiari.
It was as if time itself had ceased to exist. Everything was at a standstill - no movements, no sounds. Seeker found herself in a dream-like state, with darkeness surrounding her body. 'No.' Thought Seeker. 'It can't be. I can't be dead. Not yet. Not when there's so much to do.' She squeezed her eyelids shut, and wrapped her arms around her body. She could feel warm droplets of tear beginning to surface beneath her lashes, and for the first time in many years, she cried.
"No!" A voice whispered. "You can't be dead! No one was suppose to die!"
Seeker opened her eyes and strained her ears. It sounded like someone was trying to talk to her. But before Seeker could answer, a blinding white image flashed in front of her eyes.
The intenstity of it was beyond anything Seeker has ever experienced. After a couple of seconds, it gradually began to fade into a rather murky fog. That was when she began to notice other things, discreet, but definitely there.
There was the humid smell of water molecules, and the coarse grains of sand. The voices were becoming more distinct, and she could feel the warmth flooding back into her limbs as her heart started to pump precious blood into her circuitory.
She slowly opened her eyes, and sucked in one big breath of air. Her sharp in take of breath brought Jack's attention back to her. Their eyes connected, and that was when Seeker knew for certain that everything was going to be fine. Although she may not know what had happened, but she's sure that Jack, and the rest, will take care of her, no matter what.
I looked down at my arm and saw the poison, though Seth had helped, seeping slowly further up my skin. My hand was almost purple, and my arm was getting that way too. The snake's puncture wounds were completely black, and the blood dried around it looked disgustingly wrong in a green color. I was standing off a bit to the side. I looked to make sure no one had seen, and ripped more cloth off my shirt and tied it around the useless arm. I pulled the rolled-up sleeves of my jacket down so no one could see. Eve might not have won the war yet, but she's won the battle over me.
Powers: gone
Right Arm: useless and throbbing
I sighed, and gritted my teeth. I had nothing worth fighting for, but as I looked around me I saw different. I had gained friends, a feat I thought was impossible in coming to the school. I looked, and everything was in a standstill; I only heard my breathing. Jack, we had met on the roof of the school. I remembered being surprised he didn't even flinch when I showed myself to him, even when he thought he was alone up there. Keikoa, she caught me when I fell off the roof, risking herself for me, even though I was stand-offish to her and the rest. Seeker, the person I watched from afar and admired her strength. I was doing this for them. And for myself. I had nothing left to fight with but sheer luck and whatever Karate\Tae I could do with one arm and my two feet. I narrowed my eyes, and stood waiting.
(.....um, I'm just kinda following...)
-Jack reacted to Seeker's breathing. He gave a small smile. He knew she was weak. As Jack looked around he had seen that they had one the battle over the school grounds. They lost Eve but they were all still alive. The only one that was left now was changer. He knew Changer was finished though. She was hurt.-
-Jack picked up Seeker and walked slowly across the lawn of the school, glancing at Changer who had blood all over her. No one was around because they were all in class. Atleast, that is what Jack assumed because he didn't see anyone outside. He then looked back to where they had fought. It was set up. That particular spot on the school grounds was a blind spot to the windows. No one even knew what had happened. Jack's smile still didn't fade though.-
- Jack walked into the school. He flew up the stairs with Seeker in his arms. He went through the doors and met the nurse.-
"Training" -Jack said, the Nurse nodded. Many people got hurt during training. It would also explain some blood that had soaked his shoe. He didn't want the nurse to know because he knew that they would question him and if they couldn't find Eve then they would be blamed for attacking Changer and the rookies.-
-The Nurse took Seeker and set her on a bed. Jack got a chair and sat by the bed. He couldn't leave anyone alone.-
I watched Jack fly away with Seeker. I decided to follow. Without looking back, I walked to the school. I walked through the open door, thanking God for my fortunate luck no one was int the halls. I walked up a flight of stairs and pasued regaining my breath. I was weak.
Briiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!! I cursed under my breath. Door after door flew open, and kids filed out, all of them talking or doing something.I began to run, and a lot of them stopped to stare at my ragged appearance. The green blood was soaking through my jacket sleeve, and my shirt and jeans were torn. I bet my face wasn't too sightly either.
"What the..." "Did you see her?" "I wonder what..." I could hear them questioning about me to eachother.
I skidded to a stop and practicaly threw myself into the nurse's room and closed the door quickly. She looked at my appearance, but I discreetly slid my arm out of sight.
"Training." I said breathless. She frowned, but nodded. "Seeker...?" She pointed to the room to the side, and I opened the door, went in, then closed it.
"How is she?" I asked quietly to Jack, looking her over.
Seeker surrendered herself to Jack's strong arms and let herself be flown to the hospital wing. She closed her eyes and buried her head in his chest and murmured, "I knew you were gonna take care of me, Jack".
While she was being treated for her injuries, a rather shaky looking Kiari walked in. "How is she?" she asked.
"I'm fine Kiari." Seeker replied. She could feel her strength flowing back to her body, and she's not as dizzy as before. She then took a closer look at Kiari and frowned. "Kiari. You don't look too good. What happened to your arm?"
"What happened to your arm?" She asked.
"Nothing." I said, sliding my arm behind my back. My head swam, and it was hard to keep my eyes locked on an object. I reached out and found the chair next to me, and shakily sat down.
Aria sighed some, seeing the fight was finished. She sank into the shadows, forming inside the hospital room where Seeker, Jake, and Kiari were. She folded her arms over her chest and leaned back into a wall, her purple eyes locked on Seeker. "You alright?" She let her head tilt to the right, watching the girl closely.
Aria let her gaze flash over to Kiair, taking a quick glance at her arm before it was hidden behind Kiari's back. She shook her head and let her attention fall back upon Seeker. She kinda felt sorry for the girl, knowing that she herself could have done something to help her so she wouldn't have ended up in the hospital wing of the school building. Not giving much more thought to her own abilities, she brought her foot up to plant against the wall, her full attention being on Seeker.
I looked at the newcomer coldly. I felt an overpowering surge of jealousy at watching her use her Darkness. I kicked myself mentaly, and remembered we had more important matters.
That's when it dawned on me.
Eve was using potions to steal people's powers. She must have somehow given me some with I knowing it. My eyes glazed over as I thought it through. Eve was smart, she'd have anti-potions. If I could find them, maybe...
I got up abruptly, and glanced at Seeker before I left. Eve would have to pay, but I couldn't do much without my powers.
I walked out of the nurse's station, and went into the now-empty hallway. I looked around, and went to my room, just out of the hospital wing. I opened the door with my key and went straight to the drawer where I had stuffed my box. I opened it and got out a bobby pin and a thin, but hard piece of plastic. I locked up, and then set off for Eve's room, formulating my "if" plans. Like, if she enters the room while I am in there, if I can't get out in time, etc.
I stopped at her door and knelt down eye-level with the lock. I slid the piece of plastic in the crack between the door and door frame, hitting the lock's tongs and knocking it back enough for me to turn the handle. I opened the door.
I looked around, and everything looked normal to me. I went over to to the dresser, sizing it up, and opened the middle drawer, hoping Eve had done what I thought she might have done. I felt for the back of the drawer, and grinned. A fake back. The size of the drawer didn't match the size of the chest they were in. I pulled down the back, and grinned even more widely at the variety of potion bottles. One problem. I didn't know what was what, she had no lables on them. I groaned in frustration. I sat back on my heals and started to think, when I heard a noise outside the door. I looked down, and could see a shadow flit across. I sucked in a quick breath, and grabbed a greenish potion, and went to the window. It was second story, but I could make it.
My knees buckled from the impact, but I got back up and ran to the side of the school. I looked at the potion, took a deep breath, and drank it.
I waited.
((I'll edit if this messes with anyone's plans. I just didn't have much to go on at the moment.))
~Changer's eyes were returning to their natural color. The blood stopped running from her eyes and nose. She panted relieved that Seeker was out of her. Sala slipped from her abdomin, and remained in front of her to see if she was ok. Silence came over the land, except for the sobbing of Keikoa.~ "Very good sister, now to finish half of the job, they may have gotten away but it won't be very long until it is done and over with." Changer said looking up at Sala. ~Changer got up weak at first but kept her balance. Blood stained her jeans, and her shirt was ripped were her stomach was showing. Changer wiped the blood on her stomach and the hole that Sala had made slowly closed up. She laughed as she turned toward Keikoa. Extending her fingers, her fingers transformed into snakes and started to seal themselves on the entrances and exits. Changer laughed as she hovered over Keikoa~
"I'm fine, really." Replied Seeker. Her eyes stayed on this new girl for only a second or so before moving towards the door, at Kiari's vanishing back. "Although it's Kiari that I'm truly worried about. The last time I heard, she lost her powers, so I'm not sure if anything's changed. And her arm seemed really bad. We should go after her. With minimal powers, she's the most vulnerable. We can't let her go off by herself."
Having said that, Seeker tried to get up from her sick bed, but the moment her feet touched the ground, a sea of dizziess threatened to overwhelm her. She had to grab hold of the bed post to keep her balance.
She scowled, angry at herself for being so weak. "We have to go after her" she pleaded.
-Joe stood up moving casually towards the tree, his foot softly touched the floor as he bent his knees and jumped up, he caught the branch in his hands, the bark felt slippery from the recent rain as he lifted himself up onto the wooden branch.
He looked about examining the surroundings and what was going on, the rain still dripping from the tree, he had strayed far from the school, abit to far in his opinion, he looked down, his bike lay on it's side and back wheel still spinning from where he had put it down, he looked out, in the far distance he could see the outline of a somewhat hidden school amongst the trees, he put his hands on the branch and began to swing his leg back and forth, he stared out dreamily thinking about himself for a moment.-
(Woo.. thought I'd come back in for abit...)
"Now or never Kia." I said, watching from the shadows of the school building. My body felt light from having drank the potion.
I concentrated very hard on the place where we fought, and tried to fade myself there, but nothing happened. I gritted my teeth and tried again, eyes squeezed shut and mouth set with determination. I groaned and opened my eyes, seeing as nothing was going to happen. I wonder what kind of potion it was I had drank. I glanced around me, and saw myself a few meters from the arena. I cried out in surprise. It worked! A little off, but that could be fixed. I grinned, but quickly let it fade. I had no idea if this was permanent. I walked out a bit, and saw Keikoa on the ground struggling to get up. I froze in horror when I saw Chancer's giant snake hovering over her.
A tiny orb of Dark appeared at the snake's head. I concentrated, and made it bigger; slowly, but surely, it soon swallowed the snake's head. I then let my concentration fly, letting the Dark explode in every direction. I winced when I saw some fly at Keikoa. Apparently I would have to learn how to use my powers again, but at least they weren't totally off.
"Leave her." I said, staring at Chancer, left arm out ready to attack.
~Keikoa was relieved when she saw Kiari out the side of her eye but disappointed when some of her darkness flew toward her. Now her sight was blurred from slow reaction to the darkness coming toward her. Changer had told her if she wanted to she could come to their side now that she was killer. Oh, she didn't know what to do. She actually killed someone even though her life was in danger. Maybe Changer was right, she wasn't any different from her or eve. But no!! She had to be, she just had to. Keikoa had survived alot in her life and she refused to give it up. Yet she remained still hopping her vision would get back to normal. It didn't within a couple of minutes, so she felt around on the ground for something she could throw in Changer's general direction.~
~Changer laughed at Kiari. Yet one of her snakes was destroyed now that her snakes had turned to stone on the entrances and exits, someone would have to be pretty strong to break threw, and a poisen had filled the air above.~ "Now i got you guys all to myself what fun" Changer said smiling. ~She knew that Kiari could make a good effort in killing Sala so she whistled pointing to Keikoa who was filling the ground. Apparently she had lost her sight. Changer stood her ground and got into fighting position.~ "Now lets see who will come out on top, now that you've got your powers back" Changer murmurred more to herself than Kiari.
"Now lets see who will come out on top, now that you've got your powers back" Chancer said.
I watched her get ready to fight.
"Keikoa, if there is water near you, try to make it warm with your powers, and flush it directly on your eyes." I said to her quietly so Chancer couldn't hear. "You didn't get hit directly, so you won't be blinded for long, it will wear off more quickly if you use warm water."
"Your move." I said, grinning at Chancer.
Seeker is feeling a lot better now. She's definitely getting her strength back, and along with it, a new sense of determination. Eve has to be stopped, at all costs. They can't afford to have her evil plans succeed. Seeker's personal problems can wait.
She walks out of the hospital wing and follows Kiari back to the duelling arena. A wave of foreboding washes over Seeker as she makes her way down the spiral staircase. I hope you know what you're doing Kiari, she thought gravely. Right now, they need all the man power they can get. If Kiari gets injured, or even killed, then their chances of defeating Eve would get dismally low. It is now apparent that the potions work, it is the only explanation for Kiari's loss of power. Hopefully, they'll be able to find the cure for it, but in order to do that, they first need to take care of Changer.
Seeker quickens her step, and as she neared the arena, she sees Changer and Kiari squaring off. She narrowed her eyes. What the hell is she doing? She's in no position to fight! Just as these thoughts are crossing her mind, Seeker drew on her water elements. If she's going get out of this on top, then she'll need all the help she can get. And Seeker will do everything in her power to make sure Eve and her cronies are defeated once and for all.
-Jack watched Seeker go. He stood there a moment, his thoughts racing.-
' Who's side are you on?'
'You're on the good side, the side that doesn't hurt people.'
' Oh yes, of course but if you're on the good side then why are you fighting?'
'We fight to destroy the evil.'
' What evil?'
'The evil that wants to take everybodies powers.'
' Would she take your powers?'
' No, it doesn't work on me.'
' Then what's the problem?'
'It's not just about me.'
' Yes it is. They are fighting to keep you and Kiekoa alive!'
'They are willing to give their lives for mine?'
'Yes.'
-Jack walked out of the hospital. He walked up the janitors corridor. The stairs that took 25 minutes to climb unless you could fly. It led to the roof. Jack flew easily and stepped out onto the roof. The cold wind blew against him gently. He walked to the corner of the roof. He stepped off the roof, falling for a second but rose into the air. He flew over the arena. He looked down on Kiekoa and Changer. Jack folded his arms across his chest, his thoughts still racing.-
I had forgotten my arm in my excitement. I glanced down quickly from Chancer's face, and saw that I might not be able to use it.
"Keikoa, how is your sight coming?" I asked urgently, looking back up at Chancer. I concentrated and pulled invisibility just for that arm, so it looked as if I was missing my right arm. It made it less of a target that way, but I was shocked that it even worked. I had never used invisibility that way before.
~Keikoa was in total shock, she was partly blind, she had just killed someone and now she was questioning if she should take up Changer's offer.~ "Oh, I don't know!" Keikoa exclamined in frustration to Kiari's question. ~Her eyesight was indeed coming back though. It was a little blury but she could make out objects. She found the pool of water Kiari was talking about and she rinsed her eyes throughly. Keikoa stood, and blinked and her eyesight was back to normal. She looked gravely at the body that she had killed with her powers~ "I was suppose to protect, not kill..." Keikoa said walked over to Hariet's body and kneeling down. "What have i done? Should i be able to fight along with the people who've done so much good." Keikoa said quietly to herself. ~Keikoa stood up deciding that she was going to fight this battle until the end and then leave so she wouldn't hinder the others anymore. Raising her hands three balls of water rose from the large pool of water, and she put it in the air absorbing the poisen that was put into the air, once she saw Jack so he could come and help if he choosed to.~ "what do you want me to do Kiari?" Keikoa asked kinda shakey.
~Changer smiled, again she had an opportunity to fight a very worthy opponet and she was going to seize the moment. Once she saw Keikoa had stood her postion on the good sight she frowned and her eyes filled with anger. She had done her best in convincing that Keikoa was a murderer. Maybe there was still hope yet and she wouldn't have to kill Keikoa she would be a very worthy allie in this game that they played.~ "Now Keikoa what will your friends think. To have murderer on their side. The people who have fought to save your life, finds out you've done their side wrong" Changer yelled. ~Keikoa's face twisted when she heard this but she didn't respond. Changer laughed. Now for Kiari... Changer stepped forward placing her to palms toward her, by doing this she felt what kind of energy Kiari felt. Kiari's energy was strong but she saw a weakness. Changer smiled.~ "Now why didn't you tell me something was wrong with you? You know that your not in the best condition to fight don't you? are you sure you want to do this?" Changer taunted.
Seeker raced to the other side of the arena so that she, Keikoa and Kiari are surrounding Changer, thus, blocking her escape routes. She then said in a loud voice, "If you want to hurt either of them, then you're going to have to go through me first." And without any warning, Seeker brought up frozen spiked icicles and shot them directly at Changer. The jagged ends landed on their target perfectly and Changer gave a loud screech and went down.
"You bitch! You'll pay for this" Changer screamed at Seeker.
"Oh yeah?" Asked Seeker, rather amusedly. She concerntrated hard on her powers and was soon clutching another icicle in her hand. This one was even sharper than the previous ones and she threw it at Changer. It flew across the air and went straight into her stomach. Blood started pouring out of Changer's body as she covered her wound with her hand, trying to stop the bleeding. It was no use. Seeker could tell that Changer's getting weaker and weaker, and soon, she'll be incapacitated one hundred percent.
Seeker then threw a worried glance at Kiari and Keikoa. "Are you guys alright?" She asked?
~Changer held her wound with a disturbing grin on her face. Was this the moment she knew was coming but didn't want to face? Was she going to die (Dun dun dun)? Changer knelt and was on her knees know. A single tear fell from her face. The pool of blood that was on the ground turned into tiny poisoness snakes, as a last method to fight for her life. She laid on the ground and Sala quickly went her side, and nudged her edging her to continue~ "Its no use Sala whas the point they got me surround, and even if i did excape i'm not strong enough" Changer said her face to the hot pavement. ~Sala wrapped the end of its body onto Changer pulling her. Changer winced with every movement she was going to kill at least one person before she died and even if she did the snakes inside her would be unleashed. That would be a sight to see even if she wouldn't be alive. She held on for dear life while Sala tried to save her.~
"I'm... I'm ok" Keikoa answered. ~Keikoa watched the snake pull Changer, she didn't have the heart to finish her off. If Changer died did that mean that Seeker was a killer. Maybe it was an unwritten rule that they could kill but be protected. A ounce of hope formed inside Keikoa, letting her know that she might now be a murderer just yet. She would see the outcome of this. She looked up at the sky and saw Jack thinking~ YOu ok Jack!"
Seeker slowly drew on her powers and another icicle formed. She clutched it firmly in her hand, like holding a dagger. "My friends might not have the heart to kill, Changer, but I'm not. You prey on the weak, and you're pathetic. You prey on the strong, and you're an idiot. You prey on my friends...and you're history." With that, Seeker hammered the ice straight into Changer's heart.
She didn't even bother to check whether Changer's still alive or not, because she knew in her heart that no-one could possibly survive that deadly blow. Seeker tried hard not to look at the rest of her gang, because she's afraid to see what their faces might reveal. So instead, she trudged back to her dorm, without saying a word to anyone.
She ran up the stairs and into her small, but tidy room. She locked the door behind her and stepped into the shower. She let the hot water run down her body, letting it wash away the blood clots that had already dried on her skin, her hair. She stayed there for what seemed like an eternity, and was surprised to find that during all that time, she'd been crying. She opened her eyes and let the hot water merge with her hot tears.
The fact that she cried, surprised her. There shouldn't be any emotions involved when dealing with your enemy. Especially when the enemy was trying to kill you and everyone whom you've ever cared about. Then why is Seeker feeling the way she is? Why is she even wasting precious tears on someone who clearly did not deserve it?
-Joe walked through the crowd silently, moving into the empty gaps of the crowl, he edged around the security them not noticing him as he entered the arena, he leant back on the wall of the main area, he looked out to see who was fighting, he raised his eyes up to look about the crowd, the stadium was full.
He moved along and set himself down on one of the seats usually for friends of the competitors.-
(I dunno where you guys are or what happened, so I'll just watch for abit))
((Lol...so I see you finally decided to post...:lol: OK...so here's what happened. Eve is planning on taking everyone's powers and use it on herself...So she employed a couple of ppl to go and kill Keikoa and Jack, because they are the only ones who can somehow stop Eve, although how? we don't know yet, cause Popity hasn't revealed everything to us...
Now...there's sort of like a fight, between the good guys and the bad guys...Changer's dead << Seeker killed her. and Keikoa and Kiari are badly injured.))
~Eve is in the water control system, she is checking the controls to make sure that all systems is stable. So she walks over to the corner of the room where a large pipe with the meter and an opening. She opened the hatch to the opened, and opened the lid to the potion. Her eyes glistened; knowing that once this potion is in that pipeline of the water works of the entire school, and no one could stop her.
She poured the orange substance into the system. Within one hour, the entire water system will be infected. Anyone that touches any part of the water that is on school grounds will immediately become hers. She closes the hatch. And uses her powers to completely cover the entire room. The veins and bush is so thick that you can't see a thing. To use fire against it would destroy the control panel and will automatically set off the fire alarm sprinklers.
She walks out of the room with pride. She is now undefeatable. Her diversion of her pathetic rookies had worked. She went back to her room to the door was wide open. She knew she had locked it. She quickly went inside to see what has happened. It was obvious that her room had been searched. She ran to her desk to look in her secret draw. The green potion was missing. She smiled to herself. 'That's not so bad, that was only a test antidote, it was only temporary.' Eve thought to herself. She grabbed the rest of the potions and went to the Administration office. She went on the loud speaker to the entire school.
"Would all students and teachers please come to the auditorium. There is an important announcement to make." After the notice on the speaker, she went to the auditorium straight away. She stood before a microphone and waited for everyone to arrive. She never stopped grinning the entire time. This was her moment, her moment of triumph.~
-Joe sighed as he looked up onto the stage, a girl stood there, a grin spread across her face, he looked deep into her eyes, but there wasn't a kind, exited happiness, there was a evil, sadistic kind, he watched intriqued, he leant back pulling a packet of ciggertes from his pocket and lighting one, he moved it to his lips as he pulled a small black lighter from his pocket, he moved it to his mouth flicking it, a flame appearing shortly as he lit his cig, he stared up as he took a drag and let his hand drop down towards his side.
He stuffed the end of the cig into the wall as he made his way into the crowd, he moved up and found his perfect spot, a metre high wall, he put his hands on it and lifted himself up easily setteling down on it as he stared at the girl on the stage as she waited to make her somewhat, he was sure, odd speech..-
(Good plan Popity, that was a moment of genius.)
(Occ: Prepare guys. I'm not going to make this easy. And your clues about defeating are to come really soon. But since I'm nice and all, I'll give you a hint now.
The more I talk, the more clues you get. So be careful what you post. Just remember, the sooner we get into battle mode, the less clues you have.
Good luck everyone. For I have a feeling this is the final battle between good and evil. Gosh, I feel like I'm the big boss at the end of some arcade game. :lmao🙂
~Keikoa lifted her head, and saw that Changer's body was laying there, little snakes erupted from her but it didn't seem to pose a threat so she left. After a few minutes she mde it to the auditorium and moved the through the crowd. Some looked at her because she was covered with blood and she had a limp. When Keikoa saw Eve she, looked around for water she found none. So she lifted up her hand an the object behind her lifted slowly. If eve tried anything she was going to try her best to take her down~
~Eve waited for the entire school to gather in the auditorium. Once all inside she grabbed the microphone and spoke before everyone of the school.
"Attention everyone. Please take a seat. Before we get started, may I have a few volunteers please." Eve announced. Dozens of students put up their hand and Eve randomly picked out some of the students. She picked a total of 5 students. Each looked like they were freshman. She asked the students to stand in a line before the school so everyone could see them.
Eve went back stage to grab 5 glasses and fill them with water from the tap. She walked back onto stage and handed each of the selected students a glass each. She asked them to not drink it just yet until she instructed them to do so.
Eve grabbed the microphone off the stand so she could move it around at will. "Hello, my name is Eve. I am the student president of this school due to my outstanding achievements in the academics. I'm sure you are all wondering what we are doing here. So I'll try to make this quick. I have selected 5 students to help me out with this cause." Eve glanced towards those people that know her. She smiled with a smile that told them, one move and these 5 will die right before everyone. "I have provided each student a glass of water from the school taps. Now before I let them drink it to prove my point here, let's get to know them first."
Eve walked up to the first. "What is your name and what are your powers?" She asked him. The young boy spoke into the microphone and replied "My name is Lance, and my powers are Lightning/Electricity and Telekinesis" She moved onto the next one and repeated the question.
"My name is Claire and my powers are Fire and Flying" A young girl answered.
"What about you young lady?" Eve could tell this one was shy.
"My name is Tessa" She looked down at her feet as if trying to find the answer for revealing her powers. "My powers are Force Field and Super Strength."
"Well, no one would ever suspect that from a shy one like yourself." Eve said to the young girl but for all to hear. Acting all innocent till the time comes. She moves across to a boy that looks rather laid back. Before she could ask him the same question he quickly jumped to answering.
"The name is Spike. My powers are Darkness and Super Speed." He quickly raced around the auditorium and was back to his original spot within 5 seconds. Eve was rather impressed, perhaps she should of recruited him. She needed his enthusiasm. The last but not least, she stepped up to the last boy. And again asked, what is his name and what are his powers.
"My name is Mark, and my powers are Storm and Telepathy."
"Now that we know these fine young individuals. We may let them drink the water so I may show you something." She watched as each of the 5 students took their glasses of water and drank every last drop.
"Now, did that taste any different? Do you feel any different?" She asked all 5 of them. They all looked at each other strangely and shook their heads. Within 5 minutes, their powers will be absorbed and it will be mine.~
-Joe blinked, thankfully for him, he was one of those people who'd rather sit back and watch than have to up in the frontline, and therefore, hadn't put up his hand.
He tilted his head left, and moved slowly through the backrow of seats, he moved around to the back of the auditorium casually entering a room, a sink and a row of seats occupied the room, he walked to the sink looking at it, something was definatly up with the water, what, he didn't know, and he wasn't going to try it.
He moved just behind the curtains just out of view, looking onto the side of the stage, and 5 volunteirs and that girl, he didn't trust her one bit, something about her made him shiver.-
Seeker got out of her shower and quickly dressed herself in the usual jeans and tee. She thought about what had happened earlier on today, and she just couldn't pass the image of the dying Changer from her mind. She had done many things before, but she'd never killed someone...until now. The enormity of that made her whole body shudder.
But no matter what had happened, what is done, is done. There's no turning back, and the way in which she could redeem herself was if she could find some way of stopping eve. Just then, a thought occured. Seeker grabbed her jacket and ran out of her room.
She ran as fast as she could to Eve's dormitory. She paused outside her room and waited to see if Eve was in. She knocked on the door, and no responce. Good. She thought. Eve must be somewhere else. I just hope I'm not too late.
Seeker crept stealthily into Eve's room and started rummage through her belongings. She needed to find out where Eve stacked her potions. If she could destroy them now, then that would buy them a lot of precious time. It would probably take Eve another week or two to replace all the potions that were taken by Seeker, and that might be all the time they needed to figure out how to stop Eve.
Seeker went through every inch of Eve's room. She looked in her drawers, under her bed, the bingo. There, inside a little chest trunk, were potions of every colour imaginable. Not knowing which one is which, Seeker just put the whole lot in her bag. The whole procedure took less than 10 minutes, and when she's done, she quickly left Eve's room and went down to the ground floor.
She needed some place to dispose of these potions, and the only place she could think of, was the deep lake within the forest. As a rule, no student may enter the forest without a teacher, but this is different. So without another thought, Seeker made her way across the grass lawns and into the forest...
(Occ: Ummm, just so you know, I've already taken the important potions with me. Lol.
Popity said:
The green potion was missing. She smiled to herself. 'That's not so bad, that was only a test antidote, it was only temporary.' Eve thought to herself. She grabbed the rest of the potions and went to the Administration office.
So destroying those potions in my trunk are worthless to me)
(( NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I thought I had my powers back for GOOD! 🙁 GAH! well, I need them lol. I'm pointless without them. Let's say...I have a drawback, which I've already made, I can't control them as well anymore. and I can't move my right arm. Am I not handicapped enough without loosing the one thing this thread was souly made for? :lol: loosing my powers, I had planned for only THAT to be temporary... ))
I dragged myself away from the arena and into the woods without anyone noticing. My arm hung limp and I was sweating cold sweat. I struggled for breath as I leaned up against the tree. I unwrapped the now-blood-soggy cloths from the wound, and looked at what the huge fang had done to my arm. There was a hole from the puncture, a big one. Then I could see my red blood turn green with the poison in the wound. I groaned.
"This, is NOT good." I said, wrapping it back up with leaves. I leaned my head back against the tree and tried not to think about it, so as to not make it hurt even worse.
"Whatever Eve is planning, I guess I'll miss it. But I might die in the process." I laughed grimly.
(Occ: Don't worry, there is a real antidote Kiari.)
~"Boys and girls, these 5 young students have taken a potion which I like to call 'Thief'." She can tell the young ones are starting to get worried. They know they haven't taken anything good.
Eve walked over to a small table, and opens the draw. She grabs out 7 potion bottles. Each of them coloured. And only Eve knows which colour does what. And these are the only potions that are made of those colour. So no back up potions. She layed each bottle beside each other. Blue, Red, Pink, Yellow, Clear, Purple and Black. "I'll explain what these do abit later on."
"Would Jack Knight and Kiekoa Harrison please step forward." She announced. Hoping that the two were in the auditorium and waiting for them to step forward.~
(Occ: There is where we begin your clues and such on how to defeat me. So pay attention now.)
-Joe tilted his head to the left, he didn't know what she was gonna do now, he saw a girl limp off into the forest just outside the auditorium, he moved from his spot, he didn't care what Eve did, he doubted Jack or Keikoa would take the potion.
He moved towards the forest entering it, he saw the girl looking at a huge wound on her arm and he moved silently to a tree as he leant on it, "And what happened to you?".-
~Keikoa grew angrier and angrier. If Eve was trying to turn everyone against her and Jack she would pay. The objects that was levitating behind her flew at Eve. Keikoa turned in the crowd and started to walk out of the auditorium. The students mouth's hung open, they moved making a path for her to walk. Keikoa looked in the sky looking for Jack, she became dizzy so she sat down. She wasn't worried about being blamed for something she didn't do, if Eve was successful she could have an army then there wouldn't be any chance of them defeating her. Keikoa got up and made her way to the nurse. The nurse was shocked at her appearance. Keikoa felt faint so she hurried up and sat down on the bed.~
"I need you to heal me, now please its an emergency" Keikoa said.
"Umm... i can't do that until you tell me how you got this way. Keikoa who did this to you" Nurse said
~Keikoa was annoyed now, she didn't need twenty question. She needed to find Jack~
"That doesn't matter, I need to hurry" Keikoa said.
"I thought i told you to take it easy, I think the dean should see you." Nurse said.
"I don't need this" Keikoa said attempting to get up.
~Keikoa got up but the Nurse grabbed her arm. The nurse yelled for some assistance. Keikoa yelled for the Nurse to let her go. They strapped her to the bed, there wasn't any water around, and her head was pounding to much to concentrate. The nurse came at her with a long needle.~
"This will help you calm down, i'm not here to hurt you just to help."
-Jack had been leaning against the wall behind the curtains. He saw Joe come and leave without noticed him. Jack had his arms folded across his chest once again.-
"Would Jack Knight and Kiekoa Harrison please step forward." -Eve announced.-
-Jack knew it was coming. He saw Kiekoa leave the auditorium. He wished she hadn't. He also wished that everyone was there. Like Seeker, Kiekoa, Kiari, and Joe. He would have to go on without them though.-
- After about 15 seconds went by since Kiekoa left, Jack stepped out behind the curtain. His arms fell to his side. He casually walked up behind Eve and walked by her, stopping 8 feet in front of her. He then turned and faced her.-
" Obviously I'm here Eve. Now you can go on without anymore interuptions or intermissions, I hope. Continue your presentation. I just want to remind you of the all the teachers, students, and the Principal that are watching."
-Jack said, acting as thought he gave himself up. He knew that his best bet to stay alive would be to get rid of those potions. Jack knew how to do it to.-
I leaned my head back against the tree and looked down over my nose at the dense forage in front of me. I sighed.
"And what happened to you?" I turned my head slightly and looked into the face of the stranger. I laughed in disgust.
"Snake, Demon Snake. I fought it without using elementals. I was "borowing" someone else's Dark when Seeker knocked him out. I went up for the attack, but low and behold, nothing happened. Long story short, it bit me, it's poisonous, and I think I'm getting dillusional as we speak."
-He looked at her "Yes... I can see that." Shoulden't you go the Hospital Wing in the school? I mean, hiding out here is all fine, but if you collapse, I don't really want to carry you half a mile to the hospital wing and get covered in blood."
He moved next to her looking at her arm, his hair moved across his eyes as he did, "Mind if I seal it up?" he asked.-
~The nurse moved closer to her with the needle. "Wow thats a big needle" was all she could think of. There was nobody to save her. Her head pounded more and more as the needle came closer. She squeezed her eyes shut,and the needle pierced her skin. Tears came from her eyes, and the nurse let go of her arm. Keikoa moved, then her motions slowed down, and she was still. Her eyes were low, and a smile formed on her lips. The nurse bent down so that she could see eye level"
"See that wasn't so hard, the dean will look at you just rest for now." The nurse said running her fingers through Keikoa's hair.
"I have to go, they need me. You don't understand. Please." Keikoa said in a calm voice.
~It was if Keikoa had no emotions to show, she laid on the bed unable to move. The nurse lifted up her arm, and let it drop. Keikoa couldn't move, she could see and speak. Keikoa tried hard to move but she couldn't. The nurse untied the straps around her body, and left the room. Keikoa looked around the room, she had to get back to her friends. Keikoa's head stopped the pounding. "Maybe I can throw something out the window, and one of them will see, they can help." Keikoa thought.~
"Can someone please flip me over I want to look out the window!!!" Keikoa yelled.
~The nurse came in and smiled under the impression that Keikoa had calmed down. The nurse turned Keikoa's body toward the window, and fluffed her pillow. Keikoa didn't say anything and the nurse exited quietly. Keikoa closed her eyes then opened them her pupils dialated. Keikoa saw a chair of good size. Keikoa never used her eyes to control her telekinesis power, but she had time since she wasn't going anywhere. Keikoa concentrated on the chair and nothing else. The chair lifted slightly but dropped. Keikoa stopped and listened to see if anyone heard the noise. Keikoa tried it again, and the chair lifted. Keikoa pulled the chair toward her, and launched it toward the window. The window broke and she heard the chair it the ground. The nurse walked in shocked~
~Eve smiles at Jack. "Don't worry, even I'm not that dumb." She picked up the Clear potion and drank it. "Now where is Keikoa? No matter." As Eve continued on.
Eve announced, "Boys and girls, these potions are potions that I created on my own. They all have a use. But most of them are only temporary. The potion I just drank lets me control new powers that my body is not use to. How did I get these powers you ask? Well, these young ones drank a potion that absorbs their powers and transfers into me."
Spike was shocked and tried to run out of there as fast as possible. But he noticed he no longer has Super Speed. Each of the others tried to use their powers also, but to no avail.
"That's right, I now have your powers." She announced not just to the young ones, but to the school as well. She spotted a few teachers get up to try and stop her. But she just simply used her powers against them. She raised her arms and lightning struck all around the auditorium. Not hitting anyone, as there is no need yet. Some students got scared and tried to run out. But Eve used her telekinesis to shut all the doors and windows.
"Jack, as you can see, I'm now more powerful than you can possibly imagine. But still, the prophecy still states that you and Keikoa are able to stop me." She could hear his thoughts. 'What prophecy?' Though, she didn't need to read his thoughts to know that he has a puzzle look.~
-Jack's thoughts were racing again unware that Eve could read his mind.-
'Prophecy? What prophecy?'
'Attack her!'
'It will do no use, attacking her on your own. You would surely die.'
'Your best bet is to join her.'
' Join her?....She would kill me.'
'Wait! Can she do Telepathy?'
'I bet she can. She hears your thoughts right now.'
- Jack looked Eve in the eyes.-
"Well obviously you have surpassed the point of caring about authorithy." -Jack said, reffering to her actions against the teachers. JAck looked at the doors and windows.-
"Well, I guess i'm on my own now aren't I? Seeing as how my friends abandoned me." -Jack paused to look back at Eve.-
"There is no use NOT telling about the prophecy. Might aswell tell everyone, right here right now while they are still listening and i'm still alive."
"It took me a long time to decipher it. At first it was just a riddle. And then I read more into. Until finally I understood. See if you can get it as quickly as I can. And then you'll figure out why it is that it's you and Keikoa that are the only ones that can stop me." Eve stated to Jack. "And by the way, I do have telepathy now." Then she turns to her audience. "Anyone who joins me, will not lose their powers. And together, you will be part of an empire that will rule the world."
In time you do not know, a war was fought.
Where one power rose above all.
The powers that be, rode out to sought.
Combined together, two powers made one fall.
In a time you know, a war repeat.
Our children will do over history.
The battle between powers are in heat.
The future is unknown, will two powers have a victory?
(Occ: If you work it out partially, I'll tell the whole story as it is.)
~The nurse hung up the phone, after she had strapped Keikoa down again for breaking the window. Keikoa screamed, she knew something bad had happened when the nurse started to unstrap her as fast as she could.~
"Something horrible has happened. Eve she has gone crazy" Nurse said.
~The nurse put her hands over Keikoa and light absorbed her body, she felt herself getting better and better. By the nurse healing her it took off the effect of the medicine she injected Keikoa with. Slowly Keikoa rose her arm. The nurse sat Keikoa up, dried blood was on her face, and legs.~
"I need... water, lots of it." Was all Keikoa said.
~The nurse quickly, came back with bottles of water. Keikoa started to open up the water bottles downing three of them. Once she had her full she took the rest of the bottles and starte dumping them on the floor.~
"Are you crazy? You just waisted perfectly good water that might help you."
"Calm down, do you think i'm going to carry bottles of water around with me, that would only slow me down. Now be quiet and let me think." Keikoa said still angry with the nurse not listening to her in the first place.
~Keikoa dumped the last of the water bottles. She really needed a shower but there was no time for that. Keikoa stepped got of the bed, and shook her legs, and rose her hands. The water that was on the floor rose, she brought her hands back, absorbing her into the ball of water. Keikoa made circles in fast motions around her this cleaning her. The water becam dirty and she threw it out the window. ~
" Two powers, As in Me and Kiekoa?..and 'our children will do over history.'...means that history will repeat itself." -Jack said, purposly leaving out the part that meant that it was not known who would win.-
-Jack turned to the audience. He felt many of the minds in the audience were searching his. He felt every single one of them inside his head. Random thoughts were popping into his head. Memories came up. Jack turned back to Eve.-
"And you will kill me? So instead of having 3 great powers, you will have only one...." -Jack said stalling for time. He moved closer to Eve. His eyes staring directly into hers.-
!Eve looked directly into Jack's eyes, she could see that things were starting to click. She used her new Telepathy power to take Jack back to a time that no one thought existed. As if it was an old memory, he got a flash back.
There was an ancient time where there was a war between all Elements. The firsts of their powers, god like creatures. Battles were fought between each Element, grand armies falling and rises for thousands of years. Until Mother Nature become so powerful, she in the end ruled the world. The humans of the earth were forced to worship her and do her bidding, slavery. Posiden, a great warrior of the sea, could see the humans in suffering. He had a kind heart, and decided to do something about it. He joined alliance with Artic. Ruler of winter, and anything that is cold. Posiden flooded the earth while Artic frooze the water. Mature Nature lost all her power.
Generations later, the desendants of the great firsts powers, Eve (Mature Nature) would follow in her ancestor's footsteps. But would Keikoa (Posiden) and Jack (Artic) follow in theirs?
The desendants are the only ones with great enough power for anything. But Eve was determined not to let history repeat itself. "Now you know. But hell will freeze over before I'll let you win." Eve cried out.~
~Keikoa was drenched in water. She didn't care she had to get back to the auditorium. Keikoa ran out of the nurse's office, and almost fell down by running and being wet. Keikoa's thoughts raced as she ran down the flight of stairs. "What if you fail, then you and Jack and the others. They will die. What if?" Keikoa tried to shake the thoughts but they kept coming back. "Eve is strong probably to strong for you, get there in time and maybe she will spare you." Keikoa made it to the front of the auditorium, but all the doors were lock. She could hear whispers. She heard Eve cry out. Jack was there.~
Keikoa slammed her fist into the door. "Somebody let me in. Come on!" Keikoa yelled through the door.
"We can't, shes got us strapped, and we don't have our powers. Try going in through the back though because I think she forgot about that." A student said.
"Thanks" Keikoa said.
~Keikoa backed up and looked at the top of the building. She darted around the back of the building. She tried the door knob and opened the door. She was at the back of the stage. Pushing through the curtains she saw Jack and Eve. She ran behind Jack, and stared at Eve~
"I see your little plan worked out" Keikoa said to Eve.
~"Glad you can join us Keikoa." She created a fire ball in her hand and flew up to the fire sprinklers. The sense smoke, and set off when activated. "You know the beauty of this potion. It's not even a natural element. Very few people can control it." She glared at Keikoa, reading her thoughts, she knows she wants to make a move. "You can't possible control all the water in the school at once. Not to mention the substance within it. It's like mixing oil and water." She gave out an evil laugh. She used her powers again and floated all the potion bottles towards her. "Only I know which one is the real antidote."~
-Jack looked at Kiekoa. He then looked at the drenched crowd. He frowned. Jack rose his hand up in the air towards the sprinklers.-
"You know.... Your right Kiekoa can't control it but Ice is a frozen liquid. Anything can freeze." -Ice formed at the sprinklers, making them stop. The poisen was frozen at the sprinklers. He may have been to late to stop the crowd from getting drenched but he could stop them from getting a large amount of it.-
"So what Next, Eve? Are you going to finish us off? Or are you going to torture us?"
~"Silly boy. You think freezing the pipe lines are going to help. Anyone with Ice power could of done that. You really think I'm that stupid to not think that far ahead." She used her fire power to melt the ice on the pipelines. "Yet again, why wasn't I worried about any random water controller to stop the flow? Please, you insult me with your attempts. I designed it to prevent any random person to stop me. But it was you two that I could not. Your powers are unlimited, it's like nothing I do can to stop it." In fustration, she started throwing random fire balls at people. Most of the countered them with their own powers.
"You can make a million snow men, Jack. But it will never be cold enough." (Occ: I am evil, so I can lie.)~
(Occ: Here is the list of clues so far. And they are in this order for a reason.
Clues:
"Posiden joined alliance with Artic."
"Posiden flooded the earth then Artic frooze the water."
"You can't possible control all the water in the school at once."
"It's not even a natural element. Very few people can control it."
"It's like mixing oil and water."
More to come.)
((lol. I think I got three or four of the clues perfectly with what they should do. Others seem like they're only details.))
"Yes... I can see that. Shouldn't you go the Hospital Wing in the school? I mean, hiding out here is all fine, but if you collapse, I don't really want to carry you half a mile to the hospital wing and get covered in blood."
"No, I don't need a nurse." I said firmly. In my head half of me was cursing at my stuborness. "I won't collapse.." I said, sighing.
He sat back on his heels to where we were eye-level. "Mind if I seal it up?" I looked at him directly in the eye, shifting a peice of hair that had fallen in my eyes behind my ear.
"You're a....you're a healer?"
(Occ: Well if you know, do tell them. Just so you know, we dont have to get into a battle scene for you to defeat me. I know you're tempted to want to hurt me, but it will just anger me and I would want to kill innocent people in the school. I am hoping you all liking the way this is going, the history of some of us, and stuff? :shy🙂
((Actually, considering I was here four hours ago waiting on people to post and I came back and two whole pages of posts have been added, I only skimmed over them. I'm sick right now and have a massive migraine, so I didn't bother to read them all. Lazy-assed or not, I just read the clues and junk and figured out what you meant. Sorry if I dissappointed you. :shy🙂)
~Keikoa was wet now, she panic then she wondered if something might work. Keikoa rose her hand only taking a portion of the water, and threw it at Eve~
"Jack freeze it!!" Keikoa yelled.
~She tried to figure out what to do, because Eve had the opposite power of Jack her both. There has to be something to stop her~
"You're a....you're a healer?"
-He looked at her, "Sorta, it won't stop your arm from being limp, but I can stop the bleeding, it'll sting like crazy... or of course, there is always the hospital wing" he could see she wasn't going to go to the hospital, but he could try, he knew if she didn't, it'd get worse..
- Jack froze that water in midair and propelled it forwards at Eve. He stepped to his left to avoid a fireball. He looked at Kiekoa, keeping half of his attention at Eve. He then looked at the sprinklers.-
' Like Mixing oil and water.....' rang in Jack's head.
- Jack looked at Eve again, not sure whether the ice sicicle hit her or not because it was gone now and did no apparent damage. He didn't expect it to. Thii was not a time to go full out on her though. He might not be able to do that, now that she had everybodies powers, Jack stood there in concentration.-
(Occ. Are there outside sprinklers, or are the people outside safe from Eve's potion?)
(Occ: The garden sprinklers are there.)
~Eve flew around like a pro. The potion of control gives her the ability like she has had these powers all her life. And her body isn't rejecting it. Things couldn't get any better. Just then a large icicle coming at her. With her super speed and flying combined, she moved like superman and avoided it. But it angered her. So she starter throwing fireballs and lightning bolts all over the place, and when she got near anyone she would use her super strength and smash them up against a wall. She could hear the screams and crying for children in fear. The teachers trying to fight back, but Eve was far too advanced for that. She had no remorse for the dead corpses in the auditorium. Keikoa had provoked a slaughter house.~
-Jack looked at Eve.-
"That's enough! They did nothing to you!" -Jack yelled across the auditorium. He stood with his hands at his sides. He stood calm but his eyes were staring right at Eve's with anger.-
"You have demonstrated your powers now stop this childish game."
~Eve stopped mid air, and turned to look at Jack. "Alright, you are right, Jack. Enough games." With that, she flew up to the fire sprinklers, and created a fireball once more. "It's time to get wet." She said with the evil look on her face.~
"No!" -Jack yelled. Jack's eye moving towards the ground in front of him.-
" I'll do anything. Your wish is my command. Just don't activate the sprinklers." -Jack said, giving himself up. He couldn't think of any other way.-
Ever since her duel with Changer, something has been gnawing at the back of her head, refusing to subside. The feeling of helplessness and desperation once again tried to over power her rationess. For some odd reason, Seeker just can't shake the feeling that something is not right. Despite all her efforts to destroy all the potions she could get her hands on, it's not working. She could sense it.
Seeker walked back to the dining hall, which was en route to the auditorium. She stopped dead in her tracks when she reached the double gates. At this time of the day, the auditorium should be ghostly empty, but this time, it was packed with students. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Jack, and Eve! Something must've happened while I was away. She thought.
Curious, she entered the hall, and strained her ears to catch snippets of conversation that was floating all around her. "Potions...to steal...powers...prophecy." Those were the words that she caught, but unfortunately, due to the excitement, Seeker couldn't make out exactly what everyone was saying. She took a chair near the back of the hall, and sat down to listen.
"Jack no..." Keikoa whispered. ~Keikoa looked around in horror at the sight of dead students, her piers. Keikoa put her hands up, she looked side ways at Jack. They could stop this, Eve said they could. She just didn't know how. Keikoa could control water, but since the potion was a liquid maybe she could control that too. But once Eve activated the sprinklers there was no way she could control all that water, she was advanced but not that advanced. Keikoa looked at Eve, and moved near Jack and leaned over to his ear and said in a real low voice~
"You know what to do, and I'm ready on your cue but if she killed you. She would still do anything to get those powers." Keikoa said.
(Thanks)
~Eve wasn't fooled by his sudden change of heart. But she did hesitate to consider that maybe, just maybe, he is telling the truth. While she hesitated, she felt a sharp pain in her right arm. A burn from a fireball that obviously a teacher was strong enough to throw. In anger, she throw a lightning bolt at him and killed him on the spot. She quickly made a fireball in her palm and put it to the smoke detecter. Then the fire alarms went off. She could see everything happen in slow motion. It seemed like an enterity for her as the water was now coming out of the pipeline. She used her other powers to make sure that the whole school was doing the same. With her mind, she set off every fire alarm in the school, and even the garden sprinklers.~
"Stop the bleeding then," I held out a strip of my denim, "And tie this around my upper arm to stop the poison. We can't go inside or Eve might..."
I stopped mid-sentence and froze.
"Shh!" I told him, and I listened. The poison dimmed some of my senses, but I could hear extra accurately. I heard a rushing sound coming from the school, and the water pipes.
"I say we run, and we have to now!" I got up quickly, and yanked him up too. I started to sprint deeper into the woods. I looked back and said between breaths, "She's activated the sprinklers with the potion in it, they spray out here too! We have to get far enough away to where we don't get touched by the water and the water running off of them."
"**... ly crap" was all Keikoa could say her mouth was wide open.
~In a reaction to the water come at her, she put her hands up blocking the water, and the poison from both her and Jack. Keikoa knew that eventually it would give out, and her concentration would hurt her. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them her eyes were straight blue, there wasn't even a pupil. Keikoa learned this technique, when she would trap herself under water for hours trying to figure out, how to get an ultimate power. Water ran from her nose and ears, when she opened her mouth it gushed out as if it was just let loose from a dam. She coughed but remained her position.~
"What do we do now?"
Seeker got up suddenly, and flipped a chair over her head. It might not be a hundred percent safe, but it at least offered some protection. She then shouted, "Everyone, get out of this hall right now! Do not let the water touch you. If you do, then it will take away all your powers. Now move!"
She then looked over towards the others, debating about what she should do. She could:
a) Stay here, and try to help out Jack and Keikoa.
or b) She could run for cover, just like everyone else.
The latter choice finally won her over as she made her way out of the hall. She can't afford to risk it. It is just too dangerous. Seeker then made her way towards the school library. She'd heard enough to know that the only way to stop Eve was to figure out what her clues really meant. The only way to do that was to try and find exactly what happened in the past, and hopefully, that will give them an insight as to exactly how Eve can be stopped.
