Hello, I'm Serene from Kids Chat. I recently became a moderator and it has been tough. Before I go any further, I want to say heads up to those mods who have more users than kids chat...e.g. Teen chat.
Anyways, continuation...I was scared at first, I remember making a mistake with a kick and Shadow pm'ed me (before I became a mod, I took shadow as my celebrity on KC as he would appear and start banning but you couldn't see him, then he would say hi and stuff then leave), oml I was scared out of my wits; I thought I was going to be fired. The kids would bully me and take advantage of my newness especially when there was no other mod around. ''Imagine being kicked for swearing,'' ''That kick wasn't necessary, you're just abusing your powers.'' (Dang it!) Teens are a evil set of people y'know, they'll break you down like decomposable matter.
I don't know why I'm so sentimental but I just had to make this thread... I really appreciate @emileh and @ocean but especially Emileh.
I have no idea what I would've done without her, she's so professional and she's always encouraging me to keep going because sometimes istg I felt so dejected. She always told me when I made a mistake, she showed me that @ShadowHawk isn't scary and the whole works. She made me kick the first creeps when I became a mod lol. But yeah, I respect her with my whole heart, I love chatting with her, she's sassy but kind and hilarious simultaneously.
I look up to her for almost everything...And for that, I appreciate you @emileh and everything that you've helped me through and done for me, keep being you and don't get older; I don't want you go.

Misery loves company 🙏🏽 remember that, don’t let it knock you down. I was in the same boat when I first modded in gen but good people like @Irish_lady & @that one chick definitely looked out. Also HR when he WAS a good guy. They always said “Don’t let these people make you leave, they just want to troll you because you’re a mod. Most of these people see this site as a getaway from their bitter lives at home.” It’s true, when trolls don’t have ammo to feed on, they’ll leave you alone. (most of the time) lol God bless. You’re right about @emileh from my observation she’s a good egg 💕👍🏽

Since we're doing this, i want to add from my behalf. When i first joined ave, alot of the old TC AVE team helped and made sure everything was good, especially our beloved Seyma, miss her lots. And for these 2 specific people who are still here, @aCinna and @Honeycomb .

Me and Cinna have always talked about mod related stuff, gave eachother our opinion and consulted eachother in such things and they've helped me alot, and i really appreciate that so much, till this day we still do this 🤍.

And to Honeycomb, when i first joined and till now, we've always gave our opinions on stuff, even if we were not on the same page, we always talked and talked about different situations and she was always willing to hear and respect my opinions, she was/still is one of the people who helped me adjust to TeenChat.ave and how things ran on it when it comes to moderating.

Appreciate those 2 alot 🤍.
