Someone on another site asked me what have I've been listening lately I will post the comment maybe tonight because in my opinion I wrote such a In depth and intense answer if I try to put it down by memory I will butcher It up and want it to be clean when You read it but my answer to the lady was I am a connoisseur of music and it's a huge part of my life but, Only a hand full of people will know who I am talking about James Maynard if you're interested keep a eye out for it and I would like and appreciate your opinion on it thanks Justin. Okay here it is well I must say that music is my hobby I am very well versed with all types my playlist goes from jelly roll Johnny Cash George Clinton to Slipknot and everything in between.. but I must say my go to singer/songwriter is James Maynard his first airplayed single was in the 90s with a band called tool sober was the song whom he is still with and making music but that wasn't enough for him so he created more thought-provoking music and lyrics with his second band called perfect circle but not to outdo himself he still had his head filled with more intense and mind bending lyrics/music to share with us and create yet another perfectly Tooled band called puscifer that is so diversified with his sometimes mellow and soul searching melancholy tone to hitting you in the face with the truth as for me what we take for granted and some people being narcissistic hypocrites and he has sarcastically engineered songs that are just enjoyable fun to listen to with his intelligent dry humor so the answer to your question lately I've been listening to perfect circle and puscifer I think everyone should give them a try but listen to more than one song and one album there is something in this music for all

Like you Justin, I am all over the spectrum with music genres. I’m always looking for new sounds to listen to even though they may be from 20, 30, 40 years ago. Though some may not be to my liking, I certainly have an appreciation for it and will always support those who what to find their unique sound.

Tool is an amazing band and the first time I saw the video Sober I was in awe. The Stop/Motion Photography is amazing and really sets the mood along with the song. Personally I prefer the song Schism. The opening bass line that lingers throughout the song interacts so well together with the other instruments. I find myself mumbling it often. LOL. The Mission I love by Puscifer which has a powerful message behind the lyrics.

A Perfect Circle I can only think of two songs right now and that is Judith and a song I really like 3 Libras. A beautiful melody that slowly builds into a powerful statement. James Maynard I feel is on the same level as Chris Cornell (huge fan) which I don’t think I have to elaborate on his talent. You give me life, now show me how to live is a bit haunting now when listening, Very sad how he departed.

Though I was very young during the Grunge phase of 1990’s music, I caught up with it later and pleased that I did because many iconic artist were discovered and produced amazing sounds. If I had a choice between giving up my sight or hearing, I would choose sight for I would not be able to live without listening to music.

Sorry for my Bla Bla Bla, but I can go on chatting about music forever.

Wow there was no blah blah blah there I was so cool I love the way you put that man like my buddies down here where I'm at they like good music you know but they listen to one style if that makes any sense like I love it from you know jelly roll Johnny Cash Emerson lake and Palmer Brain salad surgery is so good I could talk about music for hours and I just like the way you describe James Maynard you know my budy he was saying last night that James Maynard is a good singer-songwriter but when you see him live he goes off on his spiritual rambling but in my opinion that's what makes a show that's why it's live

I just read what you geniusly engineered with what you wrote down to me again and I got to say i am a little embarrass because you left me speechless yesterday or I would have wrote this down. I've should have gave more recognition on how you express yourself and to have a love of music as deep As you and I do it doesn't matter what can of music it is. It's the appreciation of the music
but I can tell you one thing you got such great taste in music (same as I listen to) but it's not only that you hear the music you can see as well and yea, I thought the same about Chris Cornell and very haunting ( you gave me life now show me how to live)but another band I listen to a lot is BLACK SABBATH the music is so dark but as most people say it's satanic but if you listen or see it like us it's really isn't. More of telling or singing stories like being a the 3rd party of what they wittiness but by far out of all the albums that black Sabbath has SABOTAGE is my favorite the whole album not one bad song and as far as what you said about giving a choice of eather sight or hearing.Well guess what their be two more blind people walking around bumping into things listen to their music because I would make the same choice as well. I would love to introduce you to more music because with all my knowledge of it I know I can and above all I know I would want to as well I would hope you would enjoy showing me as well. Hit me back when you have the time but until then you take care justin 🎵🎶🎸🎧🎟️

Thank you for the kind words Justin. Many miss the representation on what the Artist is trying to say when listening. I don’t blame the listener for they are enjoying the beat and solos that each player contributes. Music in my opinion is a huge metaphor and when not looking deep into the lyrics the message can be lost. Perfect example of a song miss interpreted is the song by Semisonic entitled “Closing Time.” Most think it’s about a bar closing and everyone has to leave. But the truth is that it’s about a woman giving birth. Listen carefully to the lyrics and the pieces will fit together and make sense.

Again I can chat about different bands and musicians from then and now all day. In fact, I will be heading to the Untold Festival in Cluj-Napoca Thursday night that lasts through the weekend. Been a tradition since they started six years ago. Cannot wait as they cancelled it last year due to what went on in the world. Dancing, partying and yeah, no sleep for three days! What’s not to love?!

Magdalena,Yes, I know that song very well

Magdalena,Yes, I know that song very well
Sorry I hit the wrong button. You said thank you for the kind words l was just saying what's on my mind and thank you for not getting sick of me yet(lol) I sometimes have that effect on people well when I said I know the song closing time very well I think I started are friendship out on a big fat lie. Forgive me🤦I don't know that song at all now you have pointed out to me. Yes, so many songs with double entender's or hidden meanings and probably some songs we will never know because the artist is singing it to one person and that's there little secret. Well, I must say I am a little jealous you going to the music festival I haven't seen a show in years I am embarrassed being a music lover that I am the last show I went to was YES in Philadelphia at the tower not one bad seat in that place it's great to see a show I've been to a couple of lollapaloozas but countless other bands I hope when I leave you a messages it's not too winded or long. There's and album from Judas priest it's called sad wings of destiny it's something I use to listen to as young teenager and I'd like for you to listen to it too but since you're an artist you would appreciate that album cover you being a music lover I am going to make a list of album's, and song I like it might be extensive but I would enjoy doing it for you and I hope I can introduce you to new stuff and if you don't mind throw me somethings introduce me to some new stuff you like I hope that didn't come of immature like I was in high school making a mix tape for you. I think I never grow out of that stage but now I call it adults discussing and trading insight on music if you have time and don't go out of your way and that sad wings of destiny album it's not on the top of my list because nothing is I'm non biased on my music but it's the first on yours you take it easy and I hope you have a good morning and enjoy getting my long ass note here
